"They were very accommodating, free brewed coffee and water, free rides when we asked and a person with disability room that was first rate. The pool was very clean and we'll kept. A wonderful experience."
"Glad I booked here -- it's definitely one of the better hotels in White Beach. Friendly service, good A/C, warm showers, security, location. Brought my own pocket wifi. Wish I had booked dive in advance - they didn't have availability for beginner by the time I showed up.
Notes on White Beach area:
- good LTE service
- known for night life, water activities, etc. If you want more quiet, western resort style, sabang is better area.
- 20 minute ride to town, i.e. the closest ATM."
"If you don't enjoy city life and want to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, this place is perfect. Although it's a bit far from the beach, they do provide transportation. The ambiance is soul-soothing, with a pleasant morning breeze, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere. You'll enjoy the perfect sight of mountain hills on one side and the sea on the other. The service was excellent; they even helped us book a ferry home due to a typhoon and allowed us to check out a little later...
"Good location, just a few steps from the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...
"There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort.
First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing.
We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained.
There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. Maybe other reviews...

"Great time, extremely friendly hospitable staff! The place itself is maybe for younger guests, loving partying and various musical pleasures. Just seconds from the beach itself, and a whole bouquet of different restaurants with excellent food. Luxurious access to guided snorkeling tours, etc. Bring mosquito repellants with you - these insects could bite around sunset and an hour or so after, if you would want to be on the porch. Fantastic place, great owners!"
"Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!!
The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room.

"A great hotel away from the night life of the beach. Friendly staff but not the best hotel.
Cleanliness definitely isn’t a top priority here. I stayed for 3 nights and had the same sheets and 1 small blanket for two people. The water would not work half the time, thankfully they did provide a bucket and ladle. You’re required to give the receptionist the key, which I thought would be for cleaning purposes, thus after the first 2 nights my guest and I learned there would be no cleaning at...
"What what do you think about the property that it was very safe inconvenience everything in allow me to visit with the locals. I wasn’t feeling well one morning and the staff was all over it. He was able to take my blood pressure to assure that I was doing fine anything and everything that I requested or ask for was provided. There wasn’t an iron so they had a staff iron my outfit so I have something to wear, I left resort feeling like I was part of the family. "
