We had a great stay. Charming Beach house, beautiful location with great views. It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere yet it just five minutes to town. We look forward to going back!

Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful week here. Good swimming, good fishing, and lots of wildlife around. The dock and look out were really nice and we spent a lot of time there.

Beautiful property with rustic cabin

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect and private. We wished there had been shades of some sort on the windows for sleeping and comfortable seating on the overlook. Other than that, it was perfect!

Cute cabin with a beautiful view

Aside from a small cleaning mishap- which the company rectified-we had a wonderful stay. This cabin is very cute on an amazing piece of land. Will visit again.

Fishing trip

Great setting, clean house older style cottage house. Did not know there would be no towels for showering. Make sure you bring your own if you visit

Quiet location right on the water

Had a great stay at the cabin for the week! Cabin is exactly as it says in the description. Location was perfect - it was quiet and relaxing sitting out on the dock or around camp fire. It is right next to the HOA area and dock, but they were all very friendly when over using their designated area. Only downfall is no A/C on the warm summer nights, but we managed with the fans provided. Perfect spot for a summer getaway. Cell service is spotty, but that is normal for the area and was actually great!!

Bring your own towels.

All VRBO I HAVE STAYED AT ARE TURN KEY HOMES. NOT THIS ONE. NO TOWELS, COFFED AND LIMITED COOKING ITEMS. THE LANCH IS NOT DEEP ENOUGH FOR A REAL BOAT. OTHER THAN THAT IT IS RUSTIC BUT I LIKE THAT AND GREAT LOCATION. TN

Overall, a great stay at the cabin! The location and views were fantastic, and the porch was excellent for watching sunsets. The check-in process and communication of the host(s) were also top notch. That said, we do have a some recommendations for improvement. First, the cabin's cleanliness could have been better. As examples, the sink had a pretty bad rust stain as a result of the high iron content in the well water, and the porch was cluttered with styro-foam coolers, minnow buckets, dirty shelves with bar-be-que stuff, garbage cans, and other items and the screens had a lot of pine needles stuck therein. Secondly, the refrigerator didn't seem to work very well. The freezer was fine, but the frig did not get our beverages/food cold, or at least as cold as we're used to. We set it on its coldest setting, but it didn't matter. So, we kept most of our beverages in a cooler on ice. Thirdly, and admittedly this is picky, but the mattress on the top bunk bed was not very comfortable. We feel a new mattress of higher quality would be a fine upgrade. Lastly, the cabin doesn't have internet. We missed that when we were deciding where to book. We see that internet service wasn't listed as an amenity, which is fine, but perhaps it should have been disclosed more clearly to avoid any unwelcome surprises for guests. In our case, it gave me an excuse not to work all week, which was great! Again, great stay! Just passing along ideas for improvements!
