We are a small family owned Inn, and maintain minimal staff on site to allow us to offer a clean room at an excellent price. Check in is contactless and keyless, to enable having a remote front desk. We are always available by phone and text message, and can respond quickly on site if needed. Your review is the first we knew of any concerns, so that is disappointing.

The rooms were tiny, the beds extremely soft, and the room smelled of mildew. The staff were non-existant: I tried to reach someone to address my concerns and the office was locked. We left and went somewhere else.

We inspected your room immediately after your check out and do not agree with your comment regarding the room smell.

The area behind the building was a special surprise. The sitting area was lovely, and watching wildlife on the water was peaceful and enjoyable.

The room was very quaint and clean. Close to the lake and good food options! The customer service was exceptional and easy check in and out! Stayed a couple times and always the same experience!! Thank you.

The room was recently remodeled, which was really cute, but unfortunately the space between the bed and the entrance to the bathroom was soooo narrow, i was afraid id stub my foot! The bed was also very low to the ground, it was the height of a blow up mattress, and kind of hard. I only had 1 blanket, there wasn’t anyone in the office to ask for another ( it was 30 deg ) so i went to the store and bought another . All in all, for a 1 night stay it was ok, if it were actually $79. However, after fees and taxes, it cost me $101.

The one thing that I really was not happy with is that the room smelled like puke when entering. Not sure if this is something that is part of a cleaning solution or not being clean. It just stunk and I was not impressed with that.

Perfect for Solo Traveler
Basically, as expected so nothing disappointing. Bare bones, simple room, with anything youd really need. Pretty small so recommended if you have kids you should look elsewhere but price was right for a solo traveler and no complaints.

Cute little motel
The room was comfortable and the location was convenient. We had a small issue but they were very quick to address it. Every employee we came across was very friendly. One small suggestion would be, now that it's off season, I'd suggest taking the time to clean the mildew from the grout in the showers. You can tell money was stuck into this place to renovate it but the mildew is a pretty big turn-off.

Beds were comfy. A little short for 5'10" me but didn't ruin a good nights sleep. Unit was tight for 2 full beds. No dresser to store clothes. Some of the grout in shower needs to be scrubbed. But over all, we would stay again at this property.

OH THE SMELL
Terrible smell in room 9. It was Labor Day weekend so everything was booked so we just had to deal with it. But we never got “used” to it. It just smells bad. No experience with any staff. We travel almost every weekend for hockey so we are very used to hotels. This one was just barely ok. I would not recommend.

Second time stay here and we love the comfortable beds and pillows, woodsy updated decor, fridge,microwave and keurig, and easy check in and access. Had some lights that didn't work and always worried about possibly flooding the bathroom with the small shallow shower stall but it is a great stay and we are happy the inn is here when we come to visit my parents in the North Woods. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for the feedback. This was caused by a bug in some new software that operates the locks. We felt horrible. I do hope you'll visit us again.
