We spent a week at the Paddle Inn on Buckskin Lake and had a fun & relaxing time! The cabin was very comfortable for our family of 5 (which includes 3 young adults). Wifi was great for those who wanted (or needed) to stay connected. Otherwise, we mostly enjoyed the our time outside: campfires (nearly every night), stargazing (we saw the northern lights two nights in a row!) paddle boarding (we brought our own), kayaking (we used a kayak from the property), boating (we brought our own - the launch provided easy access); and lots of successful fishing trips! We loved the location of the house & the lake: it felt remote, but it was also an easy trip to Minocqua. We really enjoyed spending time on the front porch of the cabin, and also on the oversized swing that overlooks the lake - placed perfectly between the cabin & the walk down to the lake, making it a great little spot for morning coffee, book reading, or a nap! Thanks to the owners for thinking of the little things that made it so relaxing: a well-stocked coffee bar, firewood, kayaks, extra pillows & blankets, & a generous amount of (& thoughtfully placed) connections for phones/laptops, etc.
