Excellent Stay!

This house is a gem. Clean, quiet, spacious, welcoming. The open floorplan with the kitchen, dining space and living room, plus the back deck, made for a perfect gathering for a family lunch. The bedrooms, beds, mattresses, linens were all particularly comfortable so we got a good night's sleep. Everything was as represented in the photos and description. The management company was fantastic in their communication, in giving clear instructions and being available for questions. The owner was very accommodating when our plans changed. It's evident the thoughtfulness that's gone into making the space user friendly for guests, from the well stocked dishes in the kitchen to the single use toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathrooms. Can't recommend this home highly enough!

Spacious home surrounded by nature

The home was spacious and provided all we needed for our stay. Family members enjoyed the trail which runs right along the property and watching two baby dear play in the back yard. One evening we arrived back at the home and found there was no power. We contacted homi property services, they called us back quickly with the power company’s estimated restoration time and offered to deliver flashlights. Overall, it was a great stay.

Disappointing stay.

We were extremely disappointed with this VRBO experience. There are many false advertisements in the listing. The home had no dish cloths or towels, was not equipped with all kitchen items, is not a farmhouse, and does not have adequate beds for 10 people as listed. In addition, upon arrival it was clear the home had not been cleaned well. The floors were filled with crumbs and hair balls, and beds were poorly made. We were told we could have 4 cars in the driveway once we booked, on the night of our stay we had 3 cars in the driveway and received an email that the neighbor house had complained about our cars. All three were in the driveway which left us frustrated with our experience as a group.

We had a nice family stay at this property. The living area is great for family gatherings, the bed was comfortable, and the location was close nearby to our events in Eden Prairie and Chaska.

We stayed for two nights. The property has most everything we needed. Suggestions would be to have more blankets available, horrible pillows, and no dish towels. Overall a lovely place and stay. We were thankful for a low maintenance check out process.

Awesome Super Bowl Weekend!!

We rented this house for the spacious cooks kitchen with open concept to the great room so we could spend Super Bowl weekend with our daughter and her boyfriend. We loved the space, the location, the big yard....and the Chiefs win!!:-). SO worth it - highly recommend for family gatherings. Best equipped VRBO kitchen we've rented thus far!!!

Exceeding Expectations in Excelsior

This property was positively perfect for our family and for the gathering of extended family we hosted there. The large living-dining-kitchen area is spacious and well-appointed with a modern, open feel. The additional game area on the lower level proved to be an exceptional separate space for the kids. All the bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was great. Conveniently located and only about half hour to downtown Minneapolis. We also enjoyed being entertained by the rafter of wild turkeys marching around the house in the snow. Beautiful place; highly recommend; would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the great VRBO. It had all of the amenities we wanted, was very clean and stocked. The location was perfect for all that we had planned during our stay. We really enjoyed the great walking paths in the location as well. Communication with the hosts was great-responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Couples weekend

This house was a perfect location to meet friends for a weekend. We had three couples staying and still had extra room. We had tickets to the Chanhassen Dinner theater and also a musical event there and it was only a few miles away and very easy to go back and forth to. The bedrooms were very comfortable for all of us to stay in. We enjoyed using the gas grill, oven, microwave and the huge island during our meals we prepared. After checking out on Sunday it was only a 25 minute drive to the Twins Game to finish up our weekend. We would definitely stay again.

comfortable stay

Nice quiet house in a small enclave of other nice quiet houses so if you're a noisy rowdy group, maybe look elsewhere. But we like peace and quiet so it was perfect. The jog/bike path runs right in front and goes for miles which the runner in our group greatly appreciated. Modern, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and the living spaces were super easy to hang out in. Most of our trip was centered around Victoria, Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka so the location was ideal. Would definitely book again.

Family Trip

This property was a perfect location for my family event. We had 6 adults and two children (ages 10 and 13) with us. The spacious yard was pleasant, and the kids enjoyed the foosball table. The paved walking trails located just outside the front door were convenient and lovely. We had some runners in our group who especially enjoyed that, as well as Lake Minnewashta Regional Park which was just a 3-minute drive from the house. The open, spacious living area and kitchen were perfect for family conversation when it was raining outside. The backyard was a great space for this as well. The home is furnished and decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable. We had some issues with the linens at the beginning of our stay, but the host was able to work with us to solve that. One of the showers did not drain well, but the host is aware of this and will be addressing it. This is a new listing, so a few bugs are to be expected. The master bath was only a half bath, no shower, which wasn't a problem, but just not as we expected. Parking was no problem; the driveway accommodates 5 to 6 vehicles, and there is garage access. The check-in and check-out processes were both very quick and easy. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay here.
