Clean and cozy home (beds were so comfy!) located in a quiet neighborhood.Lovely park and playground for kids is right next door. Great restaurants and grocery shopping nearby.Host provided top shelf communication and a very welcoming experience for us. Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely rebook here in the future.

‘10s’ reviews? Not what we found. However, in fairness, we rented 40 days and probably saw things differently than short term renters. Exterior paled in comparison to adjacent homes. “Location highlights” says “On a lake.” NOT on a lake. Can’t even SEE a lake from the home. “Garden”? Saw no garden. Lawn, shrubs, trees, hedges not attended to in the recent past. Exterior decking deteriorating. Driveway in serious need of repair. Garage door buckled/unsightly. Interior photos didn’t show dated window A/Cs, implying central A/C. Didn’t run master bedroom unit, as the noise inhibited sleep. Welcome book said to “not run all four (window A/C units) at once, because the electricity will flicker.” Three-season porch had no screens. Owner, after a few days, sent someone to put screens in place, which had warped frames that did not close properly, and had holes in them. Outside deck had deteriorated planking. Living room TV without the appropriate remote. Week later a new remote arrived via Amazon. Furnishings low grade and hadn’t, by our standards, been recently updated. Kitchen and bath cabinets visibly worn. Kitchen countertop poorly installed and uneven. Floor tiles stained and cracked. Kitchen tabletop and table in 3-season porch in site photos appeared as stone but were really painted wood and stained. Refrigerator ice machine didn’t work. Message for future renters: offer 1/3 of the asking price. May be worth that. For what we paid . . . not so.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO! The home itself is wonderfully updated, well-maintained, and designed for comfort, exuding a truly charming atmosphere. Its location was ideal: nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood right beside a lovely park, yet conveniently close to everything we needed in town. The hosts deserve special mention for their excellent communication and for fostering such a welcoming and relaxing experience.

Nice Stay

Very charming historic home, nicely updated. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a park right next to and behind the home. Wooded and lots of wildlife. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. Highly recommend to families and anyone wanting a little getaway. Well enjoyed!

Minneapolis Retreat

We were visiting the area with our five kids and this house was perfect for us!! The home is very cozy, the kitchen was well stocked (everything we needed was there), and the location was great! Lots of amenities and yummy restaurants nearby. Very safe location and the owners were very responsive when we had a question. I’d definitely go back!

Toastique Grand Opening

Our daughter and son in law opened up a new restaurant in Wayzata called Toastique. We were visiting for the grand opening! The house was perfectly located and provided a home away from home for us. Very clean and the owners were easy to reach if necessary.

A terrific stay!

My mom and I found this stay to be ideal in every way. The location was central to all the relatives we wanted to visit as well as attractions like the Arboretum and the waterfront in Wayzata. The owners were helpful and responsive, and the house itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well-appointed. Thank you for a lovely place to stay!

Wedding Weekend

We were 4 adult ladies visiting Minnesota for a wedding. We found the property to be very clean and had everything as advertised. We were a little surprised by how small the place was in total but it had everything we needed. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions or needs and access to the property was easy. Location wise we were just 10 minutes from the town of Wayzata which was very convenient since we had a car. I would recommend staying here as long as you don’t need a lot of space for people to hang out. There is a small living room with one couch and 1 chair. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious with a large bathroom/shower area. The 2 bedrooms downstairs were small But adequate as was the shared bathroom. The screened in patio was a nice addition.

5 stars across the board! If it's available, book it.

The house itself was adorable, clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic! There is so much to do in the immediate area. You can walk across the backyard to tennis courts, a soccer field, hockey rink, park and more. The master is upstairs with a huge bathroom and closet, and there are 2 additional rooms on the main floor, which accommodated my family of 4 perfectly (also 2 full bathrooms). There's a four seasons porch area with a table for 6, and more outdoor seating on the surrounding deck. They have nests to control the AC/Heat and the temp was always very comfortable. Nicole was responsive whenever I had questions and check in was well communicated and straight forward. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect little cottage!

My husband, myself, and my in-laws were in town to visit relatives…this cozy home was perfect! Clean, well appointed kitchen for making meals, very comfy beds, and lovely living room and deck to hang out with family. Owner was readily available with any questions and was very accommodating. Close to downtown Wayzeta and Excelsior and was located right next to a lovely walking path. Will definitely stay here again when we come back in town!
