Great Place

Our family enjoyed everything about the stay! Very easy to check in - easy check out list of things to do. The hot tub was enjoyed every day after our long days in the city. The place was very clean and everything worked as it should! Thanks for the great stay!

Winter Visit

The house was very nice. The location was conveniently right off a highway on a beautiful lake. The house stayed warm in near 0 temperatures and actually got a little too warm at times. We did not need to contact the property manager since everything went smoothly with the house. The hot tub worked great to warm us up apres ski.

Great stay

The house is beautiful, everything looks newly updated. Across the road from a lake you can boat in and down the road from a beach with swimming. Owner is responsive right away and really helpful! Conveniently close to Minneapolis but has a ‘lake house getaway’ vibe. Kids already asked if we can come back!

Beautiful cottage with Lake View

We had a great time as a family staying at the lake cottage. The house was very clean and check in process was easy. We loved waking up with the beautiful lake view. One thing to note is the early check out time at 10:00 am, it made our day a struggle.

Over priced

When you walk in you get hit in the face with a foul smell that lingers. The cleaning fee is a joke, considering the place wasn't clean. There was a dish scrubber on the sink caked with dark red goo. We had to purchase our own toilet paper as there was only 1/2 roll in each bathroom. I reached out to the owners who responded quicly with "there should be plenty"

Thanksgiving Visit

Wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully remodeled property. Perfect for 3 couples traveling together as we were. The house, nicely furnished & decorated, was very comfortable with plenty of room to either come together or spread out. The deck & lower level patio, as well as several rooms inside, offered gorgeous views of Medicine Lake. The walking path around the lake was a bonus for stretching our legs every day. We enjoyed just sitting outside and watching the wildlife too. Storms coming across the lake provided one night’s entertainment, not to mention gorgeous sunrises coming up over the lake each morning. Hosts were easy to communicate with also. We would definitely stay at this lovely home with its beautiful location again! Thank you so much!

Perfect place to build memories

We loved staying in this great home! We had a grandma, daughter and husband, and adult grandkids- it was the perfect place for our inter generational trip to show the kids where a grandma grew up. The home felt a bit like a fun treehouse at times, great views where we caught sight of birds and boats, wonderful homey environment. We loved playing games at the table, dancing to a grandma’s favorite Bee Gees with Alexa and watching the world go by. A great home stay - thank you!!

A great place for a summer Minnesota getaway

We really enjoyed staying here. We are from Minneapolis, so it was great to have a place where we could have a few friends and family for dinner, or meet for coffee. The house has an awesome view of Medicine Lake. The neighborhood is safe and quiet (except road construction). And everything was even better than we hoped. Add to that the fact that our hosts were very accommodating (early arrival). It was a good value and just what we were looking for.

Perfect family space

The layout of this house is just perfect for traveling with family. We had our parents and our teen kids with us. It had everything we needed and we never felt crowded; everyone had space to come together when we wanted and separate when we needed. :). The deck was a wonderful spot for morning coffee, dinner and hanging out in-between. Logistically, it was a short walk to a nice park with beach, the bike path and a great local brewery. Grocery stores were close and getting into downtown MLPS was a breeze. House was clean, beautiful and well-appointed. Will be renting this one again!

Lovely cottage with great lake views!
