Perfect lake house

Location is perfect! Such a peaceful location with the beach that makes it perfect for younger kids. The house is so homey, always clean, and enough space for multiple families. Everything is provided and they really think of the kids with providing toys and games!

The house was perfect for us. The information was accurate. The view of the lake was mesmerizing, the area was quiet, and we spent many hours on the deck. Daniel was available and responsive. We agreed we had found the perfect place, and are hoping to return.

End of summer vacation

Clean, spacious, comfortable! Beautiful lakefront property with amazing amenities kids had a great time kayaking, enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit....dinner on the porch...prompt responses from hosts...highly highly recommend!

Amazing home with peaceful lake view & access. House was well stocked & kitchen was so easy to cook in while conversing with family. All 12 of us fit at the dining room table for an early Thanksgiving dinner! So many activities both inside and outside for all the children age 3-19. We loved the easy lake access, kayaks, etc...We hope to return!

Family Reunion

Great accommodation for family with kids. Lots of games inside and outside to help the kids stay busy and plenty of space to relax. Clean and well-stocked with recreational equipment.

This property was beautiful and had lots of amenities that made it work well for our extended family, including several young children. There was plenty of things for everyone to do, lots of space in the kitchen and dining room and pantry. The kitchen, lake area, and toys/games were well stocked. There were plenty of options for high chairs, gates, pack and plays. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay!

Blue Heron Hideaway

Our family had a great time at Blue Heron Hideaway. The house was beautiful and well appointed. The mattresses/sheets were very comfortable and sound spas were a nice touch! Communication with the host was very easy and they were very accommodating.

Perfect Hideaway Experience

The Blue Heron Hideaway was such a great spot for our family vacation. The home itself is beautiful and very well equipped!! We were genuinely amazed at the amount of items in the kitchen, garage, beach - the Blue Heron has it all! Daniel was easy to communicate with and put us at ease when we noted some potential damage at check-in. Would definitely not hesitate to stay again. Thanks!

Perfection

The house was big and roomy and had anything you needed inside and out. Floating and playing in the lake, and kayaking and fishing. A good time by all. And the weather was perfect! Beautiful home!

Great Group Location on Lake Anna

We really appreciated the great communication while setting up the property for our daughter's wedding reception. The facility and location were perfect for our family and friends. The house accommodated everyone with plenty of room to spare. It had everything you will need to have a wonderful stay on the lake. We highly recommend this destination for your family and friends. .

Amazing House!

13 of us stayed in this house for a mom’s weekend getaway and had a fantastic time! The house was stocked with everything you can think of. The beds were great and even the bunks were spacious and comfortable! The view is beautiful and the weather was perfect so we were also able to enjoy the water! We would definitely stay here again!!

The home is absolutely gorgeous! Traveling with four generations can be difficult, but when I tell you the house was fully stocked, he has everything from an instapot to car seats. Daniel responded to all my emails within the hour Daniel is definitely the host with the most.

Really nice home for families

This is a really nice and new rental house for families. It was awesome that they had multiple high chairs, a crib, playpen, multiple hatch machines, a bunch of toys in the basement, kid plates and utensils, etc. The only thing that I would have loved are retractable baby gates but you can't have everything :) The house was super clean when we arrived and there were plenty of beach and regular towels for everyone. They had every paper product and cleaning product so you don't need to bring your own which was great. The beach they added was perfect for my toddler son. Overall a great place to stay.

The whole experience from start to finish was easy and we had no issues communicating with Daniel. He responded very quickly to any questions I had. The house was amazing and spacious for our 4 family group. The gouse had all the amenities and more that we needed. Next time we wont be packing as much. We are considering staying here next year. Everyone loved it. Some VRBO house say they got everything you need but THIS ONE truly does.Thank you Daniel for the wonderful home.

Stunning Lakefront Home on Lake Anna

The Blue Heron is an absolutely stunning home on the lake in Mineral, Virginia. The home is beautifully furnished, and the amenities are over the top for a rental property. Loads of indoor toys and games for all ages, and water toys galore too. Our grandsons particularly liked the Pac-Man Arcade game in the upstairs den, and the foosball table downstairs. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all, and baby equipment as well! Although it was March, the kids loved sitting on the sandy beach…summer renters must love it in warmer temps! Fishing right off the beach was so much fun too!Bottom line- this home will not disappoint. The owner is lovely to work with, and you will be hard pressed to find a more comfortable rental.
