The home was brand new and impeccably maintained. The layout was ideal for our corporate retreat, offering both comfort and functionality for our group. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a seamless stay. Communication with the property manager was prompt, professional, and helpful throughout the process.The only minor drawback was that one of the second-floor bedrooms does not have an en-suite bathroom and that guest needed to use a full bathroom located in the basement. While this required a bit of coordination, we were able to make it work without significant inconvenience.Overall, we had a very positive experience and would absolutely consider staying here again.

Prior to booking this property we had asked to verify that the hot tub would be running. One month prior to our group trip we confirmed again. When we arrived the hot tub was not functional. We were told that filling the hot tub with the nearby hose would help get it started. The nearby hose did not work and the host informed us that they would look into it and get back to us, but they never did.

The property was great for our group. The rooms were clean the house was large enough, all the kids enjoyed the amenities and the pool was great. I wish I could give half stars bc honestly the property was amazing but there were, some items in the house were broken/not working/missing from the previous guests that we had to address. The outside of the house was covered with spiders and other insects that look like they haven’t been touched/cleaned at all. Also some of the bathrooms were an interesting size for the size of the rooms. We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very professional and prompt with any questions or concerns we had.

Prior to our 5-day stay at this property, I anticipated an enjoyable, stress free family vacation, trusting the management company's premium property guarantee of a clean house and appealing listing photos. However, the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the yard was unkempt with overgrown weeds and uncut grass. Inside, several cabinets were unsecured, one bathroom was locked, another lacked a shower curtain, and there were various maintenance issues such as a broken screen door handle, a damaged bar stool, and malfunctioning bathroom lights and bedroom fans. These issues suggest a lack of proper inspection or differing standards of optimum maintenance, functionality and cleanliness. Outside, safety hazards included unfilled holes from removed fences and large rocks at the walkway's end, along with foot high grass and overgrown weeds in the playground and pool area. Despite reporting these problems via VRBO multiple times, only some were addressed during our stay, which caused stress and reduced family time. Additionally, unannounced visits by the owner and others compromised our privacy. Overall, I rated the property three stars due to some efforts to resolve issues but would NOT recommend it due to the numerous deficiencies and safety concerns.

This property was by far one of the best houses we have rented. Not only did it accommodate our needs but the owner has provided a lot of extras. If we had questions or concerns we were answered in a timely manner. The pool and the boat house were awesome. The only suggestion would be a railing going into the pool and perhaps a gazebo for some shade. Some of the days were extremely hot and unforgiving. Since there are no trees, a covering would be suggested. However there was lots to do and we had a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed the lake as well as the pool. Thank you for an awesome vacay on the books and wonderful memories were created.

Beautiful Home!

First and foremost, the home is absolutely beautiful. The lake views were breathtaking, and the serene setting created the perfect backdrop for quality time with our family. We shared many unforgettable moments here, and it’s definitely a place we would consider returning to.That said, there were a few maintenance and upkeep issues that arose during our stay—from minor repair needs like broken furniture and game room equipment, to a plumbing issue that proved inconvenient. While these problems did add some frustration, we appreciated that the property manager was responsive in many cases and sent staff out when requested.In the end, the beauty of the home, the peaceful atmosphere, and the quality time we shared far outweighed the hiccups. With some attention to the concerns noted, this property has the potential to deliver a truly flawless experience. We look forward to seeing improvements on a future visit.

The Perfect Lakehouse

A huge group of friends and family spent 4th of July weekend here and we had a blast. Everyone had their own space. The home was beautiful and clean. It has everything you could possibly need - whether for cooking, entertainment, relaxing, or washing up. This area of the lake is quiet with not much water traffic. Views from the balconies or through the big windows never got old. Even with a rainy afternoon, the whole group had plenty to do inside. Communication with the host was consistent, clear, and easy. Check in and check out were simple and quick. The hosts offered some great options for activities and made it easy to get in touch and book those things in advance. No complaints whatsoever about the property or the host - 5 stars is deserved. One thing to note about the lake is that although we went after a heat wave and in the middle of the summer, the lake water was much, much hotter than you’d expect (even in deeper areas), to the point that the pool was cooler and more refreshing. If you have not visited lake Anna before it may be very different from the lakes you are used to. But if you are visiting during a cooler season, it may be a big plus. All in all a tremendous property to stay at.
