Nice House Could be Fantastic

Overall a very nice property and well equipped house, with exception of no cheese grater.Pros:Awesome game roomNice House layout and decorLiked all the switch labelsScreened back deck nice.Cons:Needs new mattresses. Get a foam one for under 300 on Amazon. (at least the MBR where paying guest sleeps LOL)Game room needs new door knob or better yet a combo lock like main house. Does not work half the time.Getting an email from Vacasa to buy late checkout was insulting for a 10:00 AM standard checkout time. We left the night before because of it.Get bigger outdoor trash cans, add a recycling one and put how to get to refuse center in the notebook. 7 people for a week have a lot of trash with beer cans, bottles, etc.

We had our son’s graduation party here and it was amazing! The house is beautiful and clean. The kiddos favorite part was of course the game room! But they liked the community beach and lake. The fishing was wonderful. The only thing that stinks is that it is alil drive up the road but that’s okay.we even got to see dear and an BIG bear!!! Our stay was wonderful and we can’t wait to do it again!!!

It was okay

The first day I got there the code was wrong so I had to call the help center. The house itself was okay. The door handle is kind of broken and one of the screws needs to be put back in. I think the battery on the key code needs to be changed. The door closer on the bottom was off and almost rolled an ankle. I called the help desk and asked for them to fix it. They said they’d send someone but i never got a call. The house itself was nice. The upstairs could use some work. Plenty of dishes and having a washer and dryer was nice. The game room was really awesome especially the projector

Lake house fun!

Overall a great place! The only issue we had was getting in to the home and locking it to leave. It never really worked so they need to make it more user friendly. Other than that, awesome place and location! Would stay again:)

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. Spent an evening playing games in the large game room. One evening watching TV on the screened in deck. It was very relaxing, clean and spacious. Just as described! Thank you!

Quiet Escape

As a city dweller, the house had the two things I wanted most: quiet and a front porch. I wanted somewhere to sit on a front porch, read, pray, and enjoy nature. I did so without a single car, car stereo, bus, motorcycle, barking dog, or siren passing by. The game room, fireplace, TVs, back porch, kitchen and rest of the house were additional pluses. If I ever build a house, I would design it just like that one.

It was just okay.

The house itself is quite nice. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and pots and pans. The beds were comfortable. But the internet was quite sporadic, and that was a minus for those who wanted to watch tv. However - 1. The upstairs faucet is broken. In order to turn it off, you have to turn the hot water off on the pipe below the sink and then turn the handle to the hot position. 2. The knob on the upstairs bathroom is loose. 3. The deck was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. 4. The video projector in the game room wouldn’t turn on. There was also no HDML adapter so that could be used. 5. There was a passcard on the fridge with no information. We learned from a neighbor that it was to let you into the gated beach at the end of the next road, but when we got there, the gate was locked and the sign said there was no water access. So NO BEACH. 6. There was a lack of instruction or information about just about everything at the house. 7. We did call about the broken faucet. They said they were aware of it, and would we mind if they came to the house to (?) Well, they never did, nor did they call us back. 8. Just about everything at Lake Anna was locked up except for the beach itself. Boating anywhere was not available.

Weekend at Lake Anna

The house was great for our family and pets. Nice screened in back porch, fire pit and grill outside, and the game room in the garage. There was an access card that should have given us access to the HOA lake front area down the road but the card did not work and we were unable to open the gate. I contacted VACASA via text but never received a reply. We used Lake Anna state park for lake access about 13 miles away.

Relaxing getaway

Total Escape was perfect and just want we needed before heading back to work. The house was immaculate, and we immediately felt at home as soon as we opened the front door. The kitchen has high end appliances AND high end cookware (no warped dollar store pots and pans). Food Lion is about 10 minutes away, and open until 11pm. The laundry room was a nice plus - It was super hot or rainy during our stay. We were able to wash and dry our sweaty clothes before packing them away. The king bed was super comfortable for us, and there were firm and soft pillows available for our preference. The home was way more accommodating than we needed for 2 adults and a dog. It was luxurious for us to stay in a home with multiple bed rooms and bathrooms as we live in an 800sqft one bed one bath condo. Each outdoor space had ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Even with the hot weather, time on the porch or screened in deck was enjoyable! The game room garage had AC units and ceiling fans as well. For those traveling with a large family, there are TVs everywhere! Each bedroom, living rooms, game room and deck. We brought our own Apple TV, PlayStation and HDMI cables, but there was Netflix, Hulu, Prime and Disney plus on all TVs. The living room, game room and deck TVs also had dish satellite available. The front yard was perfect for our dog to zoom around. She was on a 100ft lead, which barely reached the unfenced tree line from the porch. The yard was also clean, which we very much appreciated! We made sure to keep it that way - the outside trash cans made it super easy to dispose of poo bags (bring your own). Our Vacasa Rep, Breanna, reached out to us early morning of arrival to give us contact info, entry code and internet info, all before we finished packing and hit the road. It was super convenient to have everything we needed before leaving. We loved our stay, and highly recommend Total Escape!
