Almost perfect vacation!

This is an absolutely gorgeous house with an amazing view! The house was very comfortable for our two families and great for creating memories. The only few drawbacks were a bathroom downstairs that was partially under construction and not disclosed, the tv downstairs was basically useless, firepit and cornhole that was advertised but not available, and lighting that would be nice to have the switches labeled. Overall still very happy!

Best place ever

We’ve been coming to Lake Anna for 10 years for a family reunion. This house was BY FAR the nicest, scenic, and well managed rental we’ve ever had !!! Coming back again next year!

Nice location

Everything was lovely . The location is great and the decks and fence was wonderful for the dog. The only issue was getting the code for the boat launch . It wasn’t explained until after we arrived . It worked out and everything turned out fine but we did get the code and used the boat launch while we were there.

Great spot for a holiday

This house was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was well supplied with everything imaginable. We appreciated having lawn games available, including horseshoes. Beds and sofas are comfortable, and there were extra blankets available. Our only difficulty was that we were given the wrong code to enter the house and it took about an hour to get that all straightened out. Once it worked, the rest was great. Thanks for a nice visit.

Clean, spacious, cozy, BUGS

This home is a very cute and cozy home with a view of the lake. Needs serious pest control and pest maintenance however. Space: Spacious with open kitchen on living space. The house looked exactly as it did in the photos. Nice ! Parking: can easily fit 1-4 cars nicely in the gravel driveway. The driveway is long and between two ditches at entrance, and has a bit of incline as you go so if you are towing a boat, you may need to leave the driving to the expert especially since you’ll need to back it out. Security: Upstairs door locks needs some knowledge. To lock, push handles all the way down first. The downstairs locks on the sliding doors arnt easy. We had a maintenance guy come help us get them locked, so we kept them locked. They were even left unlocked when we arrived as the folks there before us probably couldn’t lock it. Since it’s the first floor level, and where the kids bunk bed room is, this needs better ability to secure and lock. There is a padlock on the front door that is not actually used, use the back door one. We didn’t know, kept trying it in the dark. Furniture: they did a great job with this. The house was very well furnished. The furniture looked very cozy with nice accents. Bravo on this. Made us feel at home. Bathrooms: Nice clean bathrooms. Patio: Very nice on second floor. Gas grill on the back porch however. There’s a nice view of the lake from the second floor patio. Note that the house is not on the lake but does have a nice view as noted. We did not use the lower patio as noted since the door locks down there were hard to use and because there were too many mosquitos and spiders down there. Kids: Bunk bed room on first floor alone where we saw lots of bugs and where front sliding doors didn’t easily lock. Kids slept upstairs with us. Lots of fun games, ping pong table, air hocky table, an Xbox with a number of games to play, and some board games down there. Bugs: Big problem. Spider in our bed under blanket. Child woke with spider in bed also. Mosquitos and all kinds of flying and crawling bugs the entire stay. Called maintenance and they came with can of raid ? We were anxious entire stay. We would have loved to return to this house again but def not until they start a routine pest control program. It’s too bad because this house is otherwise awesome ! Fix the serious bug issues and door locks and we will come back !
