We had a really great time staying here over a long weekend. The weather wasn’t anywhere near as cooperative and courteous as Kate was, but we still spent plenty of time out on the water fishing. The location made it real easy to get the boat into the water (private gated community docks and ramp are within a 2 minute drive further up the road) and we had luck all around the immediate area, and even from the dock at the house. It was a little too cold this weekend to sit outside and eat but we did take advantage of the grill outside one night. We also had a lot of fun shooting some pool and playing some of the games there. The master bedroom is huge, as is the master bathroom. And it’s also nice that there was more than one room with a king bed, which made my daughter and son-in-law happy.Overall, we had a really great time and the house was a big part of making that happen. Kate was really communicative and helpful with providing us with information and answering all of our questions, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again if we take another near-home vacation.
