The property was beautiful and the river was amazing. It was very convenient to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Our stay was pleasant, but there were major issues with property management that should have been dealt with in a checklist prior to our arrival. Two hours before check-in, the property manager called and said that the hot tub wasn't working and no one could come to fix it. We accepted this issue and were offered a "hot tub fee" refund since there were no other properties to relocate to and cancelling a long awaited, much needed anniversary vacation two hours before it was to even begin was not an option. Upon arriving at the property and settling in, we spent the good part of two hours trying to get the Live TV/Satellite to work. It kept reading “Acquiring Signal.” We could not watch any local sports/news; Atlanta Braves games, GA Tech's first game of the season, local news/weather, etc. (which is a major thing for our household). On-demand/DVR television doesn't work for us as we watch live TV. When the PM was called about the issue, he stated to restart the system (which we had already done several times trying to trouble shoot ourselves being technologically capable) and his reply was that someone would have to be home/there in order for the satellite provider to assess the situation. We didn’t come on vacation to handle household issues with the property. This long weekend/anniversary getaway was turning out to be a great disappointment and hassle. We woke up each morning to an infestation of ants that covered a large part of the kitchen counters and all over our food (packaged, not left out from the night before). The stopper/plunger for the jacuzzi tub upstairs in the Master Loft bedroom wasn't functioning, so water would not fill the tub in order for it to be utilized. Upon checking out, I contacted the PM again in search of the owner’s email so as to not have to leave a negative review and inform them of some maintenance issues that could have been preventatively avoided, but was again diverted stating, “The Vacasa team will address all concerns for the property.” I don’t believe that it is too much to ask for the amount of money that was paid for the listed amenities of the property to be fully accessible. I shouldn’t be having to call and spend large periods of time on the phone or texting informing about the multitude of issues that were encountered. The property receives 4 stars. Property Mgt- 1
