Our stay at Blue Moon Lodge was absolutely amazing. The cabin is wonderful with amazing views. It was so quiet that we could hear the brook down below and hear all kinds of birds and saw several deer in the yard. It was close enough to get to tubing, shopping, restaurants, the depot and whatever you want to do. We appreciated the locking gates on the porches so our dog could walk around and look out while we were on the porch and didn't fear him getting loose. We enjoyed playing pool, watching movies, playing UNO, grilling and relaxing. Thank you.

Beautiful relaxing cabin!

Everything was great! We particularly enjoyed the huge wrap around patio with amazing views. There are other houses around but you can’t see them and we felt very secluded. Roads are steep but paved so we had no trouble getting around. We loved being able to bring the dogs and they could roam the patio with gates on both ends. Just lovely!

Lovely vacation!

The cabin is gorgeous and very comfortable! It looks just like in the pictures. I’m uploading a video on YouTube with the driveway if you search for driveway sunrise ridge. It’s paved and very well angled to make it easy to get to the cabin despite the steepness. The host was very responsive. We didn’t experience any issues during our stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views, wonderful mountain getaway

As described, the view of the mountains, sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The outdoor porch with fireplace and tv was a big hit. Beds very comfortable and lots of great places to gather. The swing couch on the porch is a cozy place to read especially late in the day when the sun shines on that spot. This is a really well built cabin and the decor is excellent. Lots of fun and unique quality items and artwork throughout the house. Note that the owners do not provide any cleaning supplies and only one dish towel which we have never experienced when staying at a VRBO, those items have always been supplied. We like to keep the place clean during our visit. Bring your own or venture into town to stock up and while there buy some firewood for the outdoor pit and porch fireplace.

Absolute perfection!

This is our third time staying at Blue Moon Lodge and it was, once again, the perfect mountain getaway! We love the location of the cabin and the views are amazing. The cabin itself is nicely appointed and very clean. The outdoor spaces are our favorite. There are so many options to enjoy the outdoors, there’s really no reason to leave the cabin. We had our pup with us and he had a great time as well. We will definitely book this place again.

Perfect Get-aWay

Everything was seamless from the check-in to the checkout . The photos are exact but doesn’t compare to in-person. The views are amazing. We will be coming back.

Loved it! Perfect relaxing week away with the family...

The cabin was perfect! It is beautiful, comfortable and in a great location. We were able to relax and enjoy the ever changing view of the mountains from the decks, through the amazing two story windows and the outdoor room. We especially loved the outdoor room where we spent time soaking in the hot tub with a fire in the fireplace and a good movie after hiking to waterfalls, horseback riding and exploring the town of Blue Ridge. Enjoyed the pool table too! We would definitely come back to this amazing cabin! Thanks so much for having us!

Amazing Stay!!!

For over a decade, we’ve made the journey to Blue Ridge 1-2 times a year, and this cabin is now ranked as our top choice. Its pet-friendly policy is just one of its many highlights, with remarkable attention to detail throughout. Each evening, we indulged in the hot tub and cozy fires, while our days were filled with adventures at the Adventure Park and rounds of putt-putt.
