First of all, the cabin was clean and beautiful and the view is stunning. However, we had issues with lack of response from the management during our stay. We had bad weather and a temperature change on the first night of our trip, which I feel contributed to the following issue. The next morning, when we attempted to leave the cabin, the door would not close behind us as if the door had swelled and no longer fit in the frame. We called the rental company and explained the issue and they told us they would place an urgent work order request and send someone to fix the door that day. However, no one ever showed up. The following morning, we again called the rental company and they were very apologetic and stated they would place a call to the dispatch team and someone would be there that day to fix it. Again, no one ever showed up. The following day was our checkout day so we called to let them know that the door was still unable to be closed or secured as it had still not been repaired. The entire weekend was very stressful, as we were nervous leaving all of our things in a cabin when we were gone with no way to secure the door. We also had 2 nights of very restless sleep as it is very unnerving trying to sleep in a dark cabin in the mountains with a door that will not shut or lock. One member of our family had to sleep on the couch each night to be near the doorway in order for us to feel more secure.
There were other minor issues as well that we reported and would not have been a big deal if it weren't for the fact that we were already frustrated due to the issue with the door and lack of response with the company. These issues include lights being out, plugs not working, Buck Hunter arcade game guns not operational, and an empty propane tank on the grill which we discovered as we tried to cook the steaks we had purchased and ended up having to buy a replacement in order to use.
