Loved the Bigfoot game room, hot tub, and outdoor theater. I was looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature. Plenty of trails within a 10 mile drive. The town of Blue Ridge was quaint and close by.

Excellent spot for relaxation. Hot tub, fireplace and game room were well utilized by our crew. Host communicated well and we had no issues. Blue Ridge is just a few minutes away and has everything you need as far as retail and dining. Nice spot for our Christmas vacation.

Such a great stay and super sweet hosts! Came in and it was freshly cleaned and set up for us. Easy check in process and easy to find. Such great features like the game room, fire pit, and outside projector. Multiple QR codes around the house explaining how to use each one with videos and even a book explaining everything throughly! Welcomed our dogs who loved the space and the porch was nicely gated and screened for them to stay on with us without a worry!

Peak-a-Blue was the perfect, cozy homebase for our fall mountain adventure. The cabin is quiet but conveniently located. The bed is really comfortable. The beautiful back porch is the perfect spot to watch the mist burn off the mountains in the morning and do some stargazing at night. And, the extra touches like the hot tub, Bigfoot Bunker game room, and outdoor movie projector are really fun. We will definitely stay here again if returning to the Blue Ridge area.

Beautiful and enchanting place with comfortable, double porches and gorgeous views of the mountains. Surrounded by trees and cabin charm makes it a cozy , quiet, private retreat , yet within minutes of everything. Beds were very comfortable, which added to the appeal of a restful getaway. Communication with host was excellent, including after our arrival and during our stay. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful cabin in the woods!

The cabin was cozy and perfect for our anniversary getaway. We loved the unique wine distillery complete with a bottle of wine. We appreciated that the hot tub was already warm and only needed to heat up a bit more to use it. There were cozy blankts available for the cool porch sitting evenings. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening hangouts. The bed was comfy, and the house had every item you could need, plus games! We will definitely be back.

When in doubt, add the extra days to your stay! This is the retreat of calm relaxation you are seeking! It was the perfect secluded spot for my family and 2 dogs. It’s got great proximity to town to explore the scenic railway, rail bikes, restaurants, and nature trails. Loved starting my mornings on the screened in porch and ending my day in the hot tub. The fire pit was a great spot to enjoy s'mores. The game room was perfect! My son became a pool shark by the time we left! The kitchen had exactly what was needed to cook almost a full week’s worth groceries/meals! Each room had its own large screen tv. Despite my best effort to avoid work, the internet speed was sufficient to get done what I needed and do a live podcast broadcast from the deck overlooking the mountain! The attention to detail and QR codes for video demonstrations was perfect! Thank you for opening your cabin to our family. We look forward to returning when we want to visit Blue Ridge again!

Nice weekend retreat

It was nice the QR codes were on everything with helpful videos. The host was very responsive and friendly. Very clean house and well stocked. The game room was INCREDIBLE! It has a TV and air conditioning. My kids LOVED the big foot game. Lots of family board games as well. The hot tub was immaculate. My kids said it was the best place ever. Close to lots of stuff (fishing, tubing, etc). Very easy to find. Peaceful and relaxing environment. Lots of deer and bunnies.

Wonderful weekend getaway

The cabin was convenient to the main highway and to blue ridge. The cabin was very cute, outdoor movie area amd hot tub were fanatic. The garage play area was such an added bonus! The big foot game will be a family memory for years to come!

Long weekend getaway

We have never been to the Blue Ridge area and we loved staying just outside it at this awesome cabin style place with all the amenities! Our 2 year old son and our doggie boy LOVED the great out doors and all there was to explore! We managed to have truck trouble as we went to leave, and Paul was reachable through the app and very responsive to helping us find a jump. Embarrassingly i left my purse as well and the cleaning crew discovered it and once again, Paul was easily reachable and instrumental in getting it returned! We will stay again next time we're in the area!
