This letter serves as a formal complaint and request for resolution regarding our recent stay at your property. The cabin we rented was not as advertised, and the number of deficiencies encountered during our stay resulted in a significantly diminished experience. Based on the condition of the property, the inaccurate listing information, and the maintenance failures, I believe the property was misrepresented at the time of booking.Although the check-in process itself was not difficult, the condition of the cabin was not consistent with the description or photos provided in the listing. The property is in need of substantial updating and repair. The shower pressure on the second floor was extremely poor and made normal use difficult. Most concerning, the cabin did not have heat on the first night of our stay, which created an unacceptable and uncomfortable situation for my entire group. An HVAC company was sent out the following day and replaced the thermostat, confirming that the issue existed prior to our arrival and should have been resolved before the property was rented to guests.Additionally, several parts of the cabin are visibly worn and in need of replacement, including the kitchen cabinets and multiple interior doors. The furniture currently in the cabin does not match the furniture shown in the online listing. The sofa and other furnishings are outdated and inconsistent with the photos used to advertise the property.
