Couldn’t say enough good things about our stay at Twisted Fly. Made so many family memories together, relaxed to the max, cooked all our meals in the beautiful kitchen, enjoyed the porch everyday while listening to the calming sounds of the river. The house was spotless and had everything we could have wanted and more. I could go on and on. Nicole was also amazing and made communication so easy. Counting down until we can return to this piece of paradise again.

Wonderful home. Truly private location on the river. So quiet and peaceful. Property Manager is completely accessible and lovely. Beds and furniture are comfy and in great condition.WiFi stability was our only challenge, but that is a Blue Ridge/mountains issue and NOT specific to this cabin. Highly recommend this gem!

This was a well appointed, new construction house with 2 master suites plus a 4-bunk room directly on the river. There were two nice living rooms, both with outdoor porches upstairs and downstairs overlooking the river and forest. It was very convenient to Blue Ridge and other quaint towns and restaurants. There were beautiful mountain golf courses nearby and in Elijay GA and near Copperhill TN.

Vacay by the river

Beautiful property next to the river. Kids loved playing in the water during the day and playing board games on the deck at night. Home had everything needed to hunker down and enjoy time with the family. The other big plus is the property manager, Nicole, extremely helpful and communicative.

A wonderful retreat

This was a gorgeous home with direct access to the river. Secluded but close enough to town to grab groceries and do touristy things. We loved it and will return!

Awesome view

Wow! What a view of the river, this cabin is very nice and secluded. The porch is where we stayed most of the time, cooked steaks on the grill watched the game and built a fire.

Secluded property on the Ocoee River

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Twisted Fly! The house was beautiful and new. The property is private and we enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys while there.

Absolutely Perfect! My husband and I take a trip to a different state each year for our anniversary. This year we ended up at the Twisted Fly on the Toccoa River. We have stayed in some beautiful places the years, but none truly as breath taking as our stay here!

Summer Fun

Nice cabin with a beautiful view! We really enjoyed the cabin and it’s high end features and amenities. Everything was wonderful with the exception of driving through a construction site to get to the home. I got a screw in my tire and had to have it plugged. The cabin also needed a more thorough cleaning some areas hadn’t been touched in a long time.

Incredible property

This is an excellent property and home right on the Toccoa River. The floorplan was perfect for two families with 2 kids each - all of the kids slept in the bunk room and each pair of adults got their own master suite. The downstairs living room was perfect for the kids to hang out in and watch a movie at night while the adults were upstairs or on the deck. The property is remote but this added to the feeling of being in nature - we saw deer several times at or near the property. While there is a home being constructed next door to this, workers were only present for one day of our stay and it did not affect our stay. We would definitely return to this property in the future!

Amazing Riverfront Property

Property was just as beautifully described, with one large disclaimer not on the listing...construction of 2 homes right next door! I want so badly to give this a 5 star review. The construction noise echoing into the river bed just killed it for me. It was so quiet and peaceful until 7:30 am then the sound of framers and their nail guns. The overall home was exactly as described and offered everything for our family of 6. Short 15 min drive to town, amazing restaurants. Secluded, private and quiet (when construction not in progress). Lots of wildlife (deer, Tennessee weasels, squirrels) I would return once the construction is finished and not in the winter, with the trees bare the other home next door is very visible. Overall great place, with poor communication by host. I did reach out to management and came to find out they and the homeowner were both aware of the construction status and offered no solution to our disrupted stay. I did appreciate the overall communication of the property manager. I just really hope the owner and manager disclose the construction on listing until complete, offering complete transparency for other renters in the near future.

Very happy with this cabin

What a great cabin on the river! Didn’t want to leave. It has everything you need to have the true Blue Ridge experience. Lovely finishes, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful fireplaces and soothing spa to enjoy. Loved the sound of the water ever time you opened the door.

check in was late, place wasnt clean

received a call an hour before check in that the place is occupied and wont be ready for few more hours, manager offered to pay for lunch, nice, but the place wasnt cleaned properly due to them rushing to have it ready. The location and the cabin are great

Twisted Fly is Spectacular

This property is incredible. The design, the décor and the location are all amazing. We did not realize that rustic could feel so upscale until we experienced it at Twisted Fly. The two master bedrooms are spacious with incredibly large bathrooms, showers and walk in closets. Both have great views of the river. The bunk bedroom is perfect for 4 children or young adults. The kitchen and dining area are very nice, and the appliances are top of the line. There are 3 fireplaces and a built-in fire pit on the property. The hot tub is spacious and very clean. There are several TVs inside and even one outside on the deck above the fireplace. The tail waters section of the Toccoa River where the cabin is located is a great location for fly fishing, tubing, kayaking or just wading in the nice cool waters. The town of Blue Ridge is about a 10-15-minute drive from the property. The Old Toccoa Farm Golf Course is about 5 minutes away. If you are a golfer this course is a must play if you are in the area. It is a beautifully manicured course built into the mountain setting and is also along the river. Bring extra balls. Nicole and the host team were very professional and responsive. They were quick to answer any questions we had and were very friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back to this property. Domenic and Brenda
