"Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. "

"The property had everything we needed. The full kitchen was a must for us and they provided everything. The house was so authentic. we enjoyed exploring the Northern part of Kyoto and heading up to the mountain so this was a perfect location for us to explore from. we would definitely come back here to this location again."

"Mr Yamamoto is an excellent host who was very helpful. His fluent English is helpful. The house has a good supermarket and other shops very near by. 10-12 min walk to Kitaoji subway station. Taxis come upon request within a few minutes. Out of town center but a very comfortable place to stay."

"We had a fabulous time staying here. The location is quite convenient and it was so nice to be in a traditional Japanese space including sleeping on futons on tatami mats. The bathroom (ofuro) space is nice as well. Be aware if you have mobility issues that the stairs up to the sleeping areas are very steep. If that's not a worry, this is an awesome find!"
