House was lovely. The ocean/beach/Bay Area was so beautiful and relaxing. We loved the close access to the beach and the fenced in area for our dog. We definitely recommend.

Great stay

My wife and I enjoyed our trip here! Quiet location and great fishing and crabbing! We fished right off the beach! Only thing to remember is bring some bug spray! Thank you again!

Very nice, large property within easy walking distance to the beach. The house was clean and had more than enough room for us to spread out and enjoy. The kitchen was well-equipped and, overall, it was a very comfortable place to stay.The house had lots of amenties - plenty of TVs, game room downstairs, lovely screened-in porch and it was located in the very quiet Broadkill Beach - which was what we were looking for.It's located near the Prime Hook Wildlife Preserve, which is an added bonus.If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful escape to the beach, then this place will fit the bill nicely. We would definitely rent here again!

Cozy short trip

Relaxing Easter

Myself, husband, five year old son, and eight year old daughter had an awesome time at Manatee Manor. We happened to have great weather and spent time on the beach on three different occations in April! The kids were happy with the amenities with them in mind. Would recomend to famlies!

Great long weekend

My family’s (husband, two daughters ages 9 and 12, and our pup) stay was great! The pictures don’t do the house justice and we were in love from the moment we stepped in the door. We loved all the gathering spaces available, and the amenities present. Lisa and her family have activities for all ages, and the place is very family friendly. My big kids enjoyed playing with the puppets and arcade games, and there are tons of toys, board games, books, etc.All of the fixtures were modern and the decor was calming and beachy. It was just what we were looking for. The fenced in yard was a huge plus for us with our dog, and the beach itself was awesome. There’s a bit of a drop from the dunes to the water right now, but we went down with our dog and walked along the beach just fine. The people we met who also have places in the neighborhood were friendly and gave recommendations for places to visit in Milton and nearby. We would totally stay here again, and we’re happy to have found a quiet home where we could hang as a family and spend some quality time.

My family and I were visiting for my grandmother’s 100th birthday! This was the perfect house with the lower level for the teens to hang out. It’s super cute and comfortable and in a great location!

Fall birthday getaway

Weather was great! We were able to enjoy the deck and yard with our dogs. Beach is close to the house. The house was very comfortable. Would definitely book here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Beach House for All Ages

The beach house was wonderful. Superb layout with various porches for any weather. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect. The bunkbed was a hit for the grandkids who dropped by on the first Saturday. We didn’t use the game room much but it was fun. The fenced side yard helped manage late night walkies. A real star. You can even sea the ocean from the master bedroom.

Fall Getaway

Just what we needed for a quick fall getaway. We enjoyed our repeat stay at the Manatee Manor and Lisa is a very accommodating, communicative host. The house was clean and spacious and the perfect fit for 2 adults and 2 dogs. It had everything we needed. Just like we remembered from our stay last year. Perfectly situated near our favorite Delaware stops, Dogfish Brewery, Woody’s and Nassau Winery. The outside fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs We took advantage of the large screened and unscreened deck in the day & evening . Because Broadkill is so quiet and laidback it is a great place to sit and listen to the waves. Perfect location. We love taking off season vacations to the shore. Lisa, thanks again for everything and I’m sure we’ll be reaching out again next year

First visit ever staying in Delaware for 7 days

Nice place to stay. possibly come back again. close to the Bay Beach area for Delaware. everything worked fine. My grandson made three new friends. Beach area was not crowded. Nice quiet neighborhood. It would have been nice to have an indoor stairway going down to the game room I think I ran out of room have an indoor stairway going to the game

Peaceful quiet stay during high season

Great property with everything one would need for a relaxing week at the beach. Beds were comfortable, clean, everything worked well and felt fresh. Directions and instructions were clear. Outdoor shower was wonderful to have. Fire pit, grill/deck, screened porch—all added to the space. Everyone (5 adults and 2 kids) had their nooks and crannies to retreat to when needed. We wanted to avoid the schlepping, traffic and commercialization at some of the other beaches and tried Broadkill this year. Really glad we did and this house was the perfect spot. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach. Could easily walk back and grab a beverage or take a break from the heat, eat lunch and head back out to the beach chair to nap without packing coolers when we didn’t feel like to. Everyone loved it and no one wanted to leave. The beach itself was not crowded and very clean. There were some biting flies which we anticipated but with a little OFF spray, we were fine. We were really spoiled being so close to the beach and feeling like it was all ours. Some days it seemed like an hour would go by before we would see someone else walk by our set up. Still close enough to go into lewes, rehoboth or milton for dinner/groceries. General store at the end of the block was wonderful for some ice cream and the best homemade donuts I’ve ever had. Put your order in for pick up on saturday morning when you have to check out as they soften the blow of vacation ending. Hope to be back next summer.

Total comfort

We are an older company and this rental was extremely thought out in all areas. All amenities were top notch and anything you possibly could need, other than linens and towels, were there. The decor just captures a beach vacation, very well appointed. The home was very clean and each space was set up for comfort and convenience. Several Pine trees surround the property, therefore a bit of pine needles do make ground level a little messy, however, my doggie didn’t want to leave, completely safe and great respite for the owners. Definitely give it a 10 and would definitely rebook. Thanks for the fun setting!!!!!!!!!!

Fun, quiet Easter

My family and I had a great Spring Break at Manatee Manor. It was quiet and peaceful, not too far from nearby towns and pretty much right on the beach. I loved the decor, although the living room couch and chair could use updating/ back support. My 2 young girls loved all the kid activities that were there, especially the game room, basketball hoop, magnet tiles and large legos. It was fun to just be able to walk up to the beach with our dog several times a day since it was right there. We cooked and ate most of our meals there and the kitchen had all of the supplies we needed. We did go into Milton, Lewes and Rehoboth several times, which were not too far away. Our small dog loved the fenced in yard as did we, but be careful of the gate where the bars are just slightly further apart than the rest of the fence; our dog snuck out but thankfully we we were right there and we discovered the large Connect 4 set was a good barrier for this 😋 I would definitely come back to Broadkill Beach and consider staying at Manatee Manor again ☺️
