Location description : Mainbullau is situated on a plateau, just a few minutes' drive from the town of Miltenberg, which is famous for its culture beyond the borders of Bavaria. The village is now part of the town of Miltenberg, having been incorporated in 1976. The high plateau is truly vast (see Google maps), which is particularly inviting for great day hikes across fields or in the surrounding forests. From up here you can set off on kilometre-long hikes over the wooded ridges and always return to the starting point (several routes are possible!). Signposted hiking trails and suitable maps are available. About 2 km from the holiday home is the small sports airport, where parachute jumps, ultra-light and sightseeing flights are also offered at weekends, despite moderate air traffic. There is also a nice restaurant here with what is guaranteed to be the most beautiful sunset in the whole area. In the village itself there is also the Münkel Beerenhof, where you can taste fruit brandies from their own production and buy fresh fruit.
