"Better than advertised. Would recommend for for a group of 8 or less. Kitchen is. It equipped for cooking meals but Clifton Forge is only 25 mins away. Camp Director Chasity was very helpful before and during our stay. "

"Had a great and relaxing time in their quaint little cabin with all the amenities you need and wonderful hiking trails around the cabin we ventured out on a few times! We saw a black bear, several deer, a coyote, and hummingbirds! Great place to have downtime and enjoy Gods creation!"

"The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

The towels smell wonderful (just fresh, not perfumy) :)Quiet, lovely, neighborhood; just 1 block from downtown shops and restaurants etc- easily walkable. If you’re a coffee person, you may love that there’s a French press (in addition to the keurig and drip coffee maker). "

"This cabin was exactly as advertised and very remote for lots of privacy. We saw a bear and lots of deer and enjoyed several activities near Lexington, Staunton and Verona. The host was excellent and the little extras such as snacks and flowers upon arrival were thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay very much and we hope to visit again."

"What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! "Mi experiencia con este hotel no fue tan buena, en la publicación para uno hacer la reserva dice que se aceptan animales, hice la reserva por tres días, estuve viajando por 6 horas cuando llegué al hotel me dicen que no se aceptan gatos, cuando específicamente dice se aceptan animales, la señora me dice que aceptan solo perros, de hay me puse molesta por que en el anuncio tienen que ser más específicos. De hay me tuvieron como una hora hablaron con la manager y me dejaron entrar, las habitaciones huelen demasiado a perro! Y la piscina estaba súper súper sucia."
