"We enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. Arundel es muy bonito pero no hay mucho que hacer, nosotros nos quedamos una noche y creo que es suficiente. El personal del hotel muy amable. Solo tuvimos un pequeño detalle: la puerta de nuestra recamara no funcionaba bien, costaba un poco de trabajo avrirla e incluso cerrarla. Todo lo demas estuvo super bien."

"We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again."

"This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

"Friendly reception and service. Room was non-smoking but one could notice it had been smoking before, every time at entering the room. Comfortable bed. It's clear the bathroom had been renovated, but why wasn't at least one hook installed to hang towel and/or clothes? Very frustrating, moreover as the (gliding) door wasn't of any help here either."
