La ciudad es muy bonita

Pues está un poco cara la propiedad por que nesecita mantenimiento la casita pero la ubicación es buena y rodeada de mucha naturaleza y el rio me gusto mucho

Lovely Cottage

The home is quaint and tucked away quietly in the redwoods with a warm, cozy fireplace that we enjoyed. The rooms are a bit dated, but the kitchen is open and spacious which was important to our chefs in the family:) There happened to be a troublesome ant situation while we were there that was unable to be addressed during our stay, however, we were told this would be tended to after our departure, which I'm sure they will/did...just would be sure to request there is ant spray stored at the house in the event it is needed...

Nice place

The ad is correct, it is quiet and serene. Located conveniently near Muir Woods, Golden Gate, Bridge, and downtown San Francisco. Quiet evenings outside on the back deck are very nice, lots of wildlife, a local grey longhair cat, and a family of deer visit every night and meander through unalarmec only 20 feet away. Very cool.

Family Baby Shower Get together in Mill Valley

I shall be honest. We've stayed in individual's homes/houses in Colorado, Europe, and South America, etc. in the past and felt they were the quality of our home. Maybe we are spoiled For the price we paid I expected something better. We made it work and had fun. We have a very wonderful family. Tara and Rob were very attentive.

We like the place

We all enjoyed stay at the beautiful Mill Valley and this cozy house. Dogs had a good time! It is close to SF so we spent day time there for the wonderful tour. We will come again!

Great quiet location in Mill Valley

We had a very pleasant stay in this property. We were there to run the Miwok 100k race which starts in Stinson Beach, and location was perfect for us. The house has a very nice and large living area which is perfect for relaxing, and it is nested in the woods, which is very nice and quiet.

This is a charming property tucked away just 100 yards or so from a local park. Very quiet and serene. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Rob and Tara's place. It was a breeze to commute to Muir Woods as we could avoid the traffic. Their place is situated in the middle of nature and has all the amenities we could have asked for.

Perfect Location

This home is perfectly located for availing oneself of all the great things to do in the SF Bay area. This is a warm and comfortable home to use as a base to explore SF, Sausalito, the Muir Redwood Forest and the gorgeous Marin coastline. The hosts were amazing. We appreciate the hospitality you provided and thank you for sharing this wonderful, warm and peaceful space for our base in exploring the area. We look forward to returning again.

Wedding weekend

My daughter was married in Mill Valley this weekend and family from the east coast came. Eight of us stayed in the four double bedrooms and shared all our time in the spacious yet cozy main room. We were minutes to Muir Woods and beach and also wine tasting as well as the wonderful wedding. This location showed our east coast relatives some of the best adventures in California !! Would definitely come to this friendly home again!!!

A perfect retreat in the woods

I can’t say enough about Tara. She is super responsive and acts on any question or request in minutes! The house is so comfortable and the living area is nicely set up for chatting in front of the fireplace. You see trees out every window and the property is very private. There is a tenant downstairs that is very friendly and quiet. And you are only minutes from restaurants and a great supermarket. Hiking is very close and only about 10 minutes from Muir Woods.

Elopement weekend

My family and I stayed here while I had an elopement. The listing was not very accurate as the home is NOT newly renovated. The microwave didn’t work, one of the toilets only flushed 50% of the time, the gas stoves struggled to light, and the ac did not work. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and there is a tree that has begun to uproot in the driveway that makes it difficult to get up and down safely. There were minimal outlets and the host has multiple appliances plugged into one outlet which was causing them to all not work very well. It is a nice neighborhood but if your group makes any noise whatsoever I wouldn’t suggest staying here. Neighbors made noise complaints for us playing a card game outside at 2pm on a Saturday. We were all in bed by 9pm and somehow still made too much noise so the 10pm-7am quiet hours is a lie they actually expect silence 24/7. None of these would’ve been big issues except the price point is not reflected in the quality of the property.

Magical hideaway

Came here with our adult children. Magical hideaway perfect for our taste, quiet, unassuming charm, away from hustle bustle areas but within minutes of San Fran Sausalito and other areas. Endless walks, wild turkeys, wild berries and plums. Amazing hosts quickly responding to communication, will definitely come back.

Comfortable, Serene Nest Among the Trees

My friends and I were able to relax, make great meals, and catch up with each other in what we came to call our Magic Treehouse. Good beds, interesting books and objects, very peaceful and healthful place. Good fireplace! Well lit by nature in daytime and lamps at night. These hosts have thought of everything we might need. We look forward to gathering here again.

Peaceful stay in Marin County

The peace and quiet cannot be beat at this eclectic home. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the kitchen is adequate. If you are looking for a corporate hotel ambience this is NOT the place for you. If you would like to see deer in the yard every day and not hear a freeway outside your bedroom window, this is it.
