Great space in a Great Location
This is the fourth time we've stayed here, and we were once again very please with having a living room, separate bedroom, and kitchen after a series of more confined hotels. Gary Ferronni has also made little, but important, upgrades like adding a window air conditioner i n the living room. This is definitely THE place sto stay for a couple without a car in Mill Valley.

Ideal location
The property was as advertised and was a perfect match for our recent stay in Northern California. The convenient location with access to San Francisco by car and ferry, the wine country, the coast and everything within the lovely town of Mill Valley was ideal. We cannot wait to visit again.

Impeccable unit. incomparable location.
There is no better location in Mill Valley to enjoy restaurants, coffee shops, book stores on foot. Also great starting point for hiking.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
Gary's property was extremely clean, very well stocked and the full kitchen was a real plus. Many restaurants and a grocery store were within a 30 second to 2 minute walk. Pretty hard to beat. Gary was a great communicator as well.

Cozy Apartment, Dead Center of Mill Valley
Comfortable little apartment. There must be half a dozen restaurants within a couple of blocks, plus a good bakery, plus the Mill Valley Market. I had to take care learning how to back down the driveway to the parking place, but once I had, it was no big deal.

Parking
I'm a native to the area and had this rental for my Mother. For other travelers to know, parking is TERRIBLE. Tight maneuvering around another vehicle. I ended up scratching my car and was stuck/having to call AAA because of a large rock on the side of the driveway. We often used street parking/or at the bank nextdoor to pick her up. As as an aside, and this is not unique, the pictures give the impression of a larger unit than it actually is.

I’m a bit stunned because this is the first time that I have heard of your mishap David, your stay was over two weeks ago. The driveway is somewhat narrow and certainly the parking spot is as well, it’s just that previous guests have never mentioned it being so difficult. I feel badly that it caused you stress and you damaged your car? I wish that you would have asked me for help to manage the challenges you were having, that’s what I’m here for. Additionally, I would encourage you to reach out to me if your expectations were not being met. I enjoyed having your mother here as my guest, I hope her experience was comfortable and convenient. Right in the heart of spectacular Mill Valley
Mill Valley is such a relaxed, fun small town and Gary's VRBO is right in the heart of it. Walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, and best of all to the Depot and town square. Convenient drive to hiking at Mt. Tamalpais State Park, Sausalito and a < 30 min drive into SF. Gary's place has everything that you need for getaway. When I need a place to stay in Mill Valley, I'll definitely stay here!

Mill Valley Getaway
My teenage son and I spent 4 days. The apartment is well equipped, I needed a kitchen cause my son has food allergies that make restaurants difficult. The kitchen did not disappoint, I wanted for nothing. I enjoyed walking around Mill Valley and for my son the Alcatraz Tour was a big hit.

Location!Location!!Location!!!
Right in the heart of charming Mill Valley with its groves of redwoods and many coffee shops, restaurants, and the marvelous Mill Valley Market. Skip the car rental and enjoy walking in this picturesque village. Caveat: There’s no AC so avoid late August and early September.

Location, quiet, Location
We stayed for a month. The apartment had everything we needed. It is small but tidy. Wifi was perfect. Parking next to your door in Mill Valley is a big plus. Gary, our host, is remarkably attentive. The step to the bathroom could be a challenge for the handicapped. You are just a few feet from one of the best restaurants in Mill Valley, Bungalow 44. You are in the midst of Mill Valley without the hubbub and noise. Highly recommend.

Delightful location. Intimate, winsome property.
Cozy property just big enough for two. Shower was tight but fun navigating. Enjoyed it immensely as well as the location. Everything needed was within walking distance. Would stay there again. Gary was an attentive host. Thanks for sharing this property.

Great location
The host checked in with us early in our stay. The rental is as advertised. Very convenient to downtown(1 block from downtown main area). Wish the shower was a bit larger, but we managed. Very nice to have a washer and dryer. Thanks for sharing your property. We love Mill Valley. Be sure to catch a show or two at Sweetwater Bar & Grill.

Cozy place, perfect location
We had a wonderful stay. Gary was quick to welcome us and offer any help we might need. He was very responsive whenever we corresponded. The place is very close to the heart of Mill Valley and close to our kids and grandkids so a perfect location. We were met with a bottle of wine and some fruit when we arrived, a sweet welcome. We hope to make it our go to place whenever we visit. We’ll be back!

Best location possible
This is a cute compact unit within a short walk to everything. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials and the rest of the apartment is comfortable, peaceful and perfect for 1 person or a couple. I did not have to use my car other than for day trips outside of Mill Valley. Otherwise, you can walk everywhere from this rental. I would for sure stay here again.

Perfect location in beautiful Mill Valley
This property was located close to everything you need for a relaxing stay in beautiful Mill Valley. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is stocked with everything you need for your stay as well as being within steps of shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. Best of all is the location close to Muir Woods, Sausalito, and the city. Gary the property owner was so accommodating and very nice to work with. I would highly recommend this property for your stay!

Location was great and nice to have off-street parking. After first night I went out and bought all new bedding for my stay as it was far from clean and fresh. Living room furniture was fine if short stay but for longer stay, tough to be comfortable.

This is just a “ head-scratcher” for me. My guest and I shared a message thread during her stay where she praised the apartment as being “perfect” and that she was continuing to enjoy day trips. She never mentioned anything negative. Previous guests all feel that the apartment is extremely clean. That’s certainly my expectations. I don’t know what to say.

In the heart of Mill Valley
As they say in real estate, it’s “location, location, location.” This charming little, ground-level apartment has that and more. The bed in very comfortable, there’s a complete kitchen (but no dishwasher) with a washer and dryer essential when traveling. It’s steps away from a terrific and inexpensive Indian restaurant, Prabh Indian Kitchen, and a number of coffee shops and the marvelous Mill Valley Village Market. And when nature beckons, it’s a short trip to the enchanting Muir Woods. Perfect!

It was very private, very quiet and quite comfortable. Beautifully located in peaceful Mill Valley, within 5 minutes walk of restaurants, shops, wine stores and a first-rate grocery store. Easy access to the hiking trails and mountain bike paths of Mt. Tamalpais. Gary, the host, is very thoughtful and professional. I had everything I needed.

Beautiful clean apartment in downtown Mill Valley
This is a great apartment for location as well as layout, cleanliness and furnishings. It was cozy and sunny with a parking space available. There is a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. Gary was a great host and communicator. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants to stay in downtown Mill Valley.

A Perfect Location
Loved staying in this perfect little apartment in scenic Mill Valley. The property is just as advertised and made a very comfortable base for the two of us to explore further into California. Cozy, but very comfortable.
My wife and I stayed here for 10 days. It's cute and surprisingly spacious for two adults. And, you don't need to rent a car since it's in "downtown" where everything you need like the terrific Mill Valley Market and restaurants like nearby Prabh Indian Kitchen are literally a few steps away. If you want to go to the now auto-restricted Muir Woods (highly recommended) call Raj at A1 taxi or you can take the bus a half block away into San Francisco.

Amazingly quaint, well appointed 1 bed/bath apt. situated near everything.
We loved staying in Gary's place. It was so comfortable, we stayed in a lot and just relaxed, however we were also able to get in a movie at the cute movie house, grab dinner at a few places and enjoy a drive to Stinson Beach. I would highly recommend considering to rent this place. We will definitely come back to rent in the future. Gary is local and has thought of everything for the apt. Thank you for such a joyful place to stay.
