Beautiful log home in the woods. We were only there for 2 days, but wished we had stayed longer. Tons of activities available inside and outside. Very clean and well cared for home. Communication was excellent, we had no issues at all would definitely love to come back.

This was the perfect place for our family of 8. The hosts were quick to respond. Everyone had fun playing games in the spacious game room. We had a fire one night and roasted marshmallows. So convenient to Ingles for groceries. We enjoyed visiting Chimney Rock, especially Chimney Rock Smokehouse. Great BBQ! We also had a good meal at the Lake House. We will plan a return trip. Amazing mountain getaway

This is one of the nicest rental houses we have stayed at. It was far enough away from other houses but less than 5 minutes to the grocery store and about 10 minutes from Lake Lure. Having a pool table and ping pong table was great for the family to have some bonding time and they had several puzzles that you could put together. The rental company was great to work with, we had a problem with the water not working on a Sunday and they came out within 2 hours and fixed it. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Lake Lure!

North Carolina Hideaway

The property was perfect for our family Christmas. There were plenty of bedrooms, a stocked kitchen, secluded yet close enough to places to go explore, plenty of parking, multiple game options for entertainment. Overall we had an enjoyable time in the woods. They even had a Christmas tree set up for us! That was a nice touch. I would recommend this home for a quiet gathering away from the hustle and bustle of the big city...just what we were looking for.

2023 Family Birthday Trip

Great family time for sharing. Fun actvities in an interesting, delightfully peaceful location. Lake was lovely, people friendly, nice shops in town and environment just calmingly relaxing. Loved reading, sketching, listening to the birds in the morning, watching the butterflys on tbe flowers and going for good walks. My husband enjoyed his 2-3 mile runs in the morning. Great time. Would definitely come again.

"Best Vacation Ever" -my son

The cabin was perfect for our family and allowed us to bring our fur babies along. The host wets very responsive and helpful! We enjoyed our stay and all the littles towns had to offer. Would absolutely stay here again! My 12 year old son who is usually a beach kid called it the best vacation ever. Highly recommended this home for your family of all ages and your doggos as well!!!

Quiet clean cabin in the woods

A few friends and I rented this place for a long weekend and we were very impressed. They had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone whose looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.

Winter Getaway

This property is conveniently located close to a grocery store, to the town of Chimney Rock and to Lake Lure, but the cabin is full of different inside and outside activities there is not much need to go anywhere. The cabin was clean and stocked well, the check in and out was easy, and the cabin has plenty of space for a large family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A Great Place to Stay

The house was exactly as described and our question to the owner was answered quickly. It was close to town but far enough away to feel like we were secluded. Although it was cold outside, we bundled up and enjoyed the Flowering Bridge, Chimney Rock, and the surrounding town. The gas fireplace added to the rustic, cabin feel and the game room downstairs was a big hit. The Christmas tree and decorations were a nice surprise!

Husband’s birthday

We enjoyed staying in the cabin. The cabin was beautiful and very accommodating for all of us. Owner was very responsive when an issued was reported. We definitely would recommend this cabin and consider staying again.

Cedar Ridge vacation

The cabin was beautiful, could use some more kitchen supplies ie… pots, pans and plastic storage. The towels could have been better quality. I found that the distance to some of our planned destinations was a minimum of an hour to two hours. Enjoyed the fireplace and the fire pit with my grandsons. Quiet and peaceful!! Lovely area! Lake Lure and Chimney Rock was gorgeous ❤️

What a excellent place to stay

We all really enjoyed ourselves staying at cedar ridge cabin it was clean & cozy with nice porches & rocking chairs to just relax & take in all that the mountains have to offer. We enjoyed playing pool & ping pong & spending time together. The only negative thing I have to say is that the gas grill needs to be replaced as it is old & doesn’t work as it should but we just made other dinner plans & had a great time. Thanks for letting us enjoy your cabin & we look forward to staying again

Quiet and peaceful

We loved our stay!! It had everything we needed, our children loved playing on the ping pong table and the bunk beds! We were able to stay downstairs as a family and my parents had space upstairs! We will definitely be returning as this was so convenient to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock!
