Misty Mountain Lookout was the perfect space for 8 friends to enjoy the weekend. Rooms were clean and spacious, with large comfortable beds for everyone. The common spaces were big enough for all of us to hang out and relax together. Kitchen was well equipped for a bunch of foodies who enjoy cooking! And the view of the mountains from the hot tub or around the fire pit can’t be beat! Cleaning requests prior to checkout were very reasonable and easy to accomplish.

Things were just ok here. The pictures are very deceiving. The layout is kinda odd. This is not as secluded as you would think. Its smack on top of the road. We did have plenty of room for our family tho. But the house keeping was something to be desired. Cob webs behind headboards, attached to plants in corners. Empty Winter green grizzly chew under the bed (none of us chew) we assume it was from previous guests, as well as what looked to be a pile of vomit off the corner of deck between the deck and fire pit area. The communication was ok until we checked out. Then they decided to charge my bank card another fee (without contact) for what they say was a pet fee they forgot to charge upon initial booking, which I clearly stated I was bringing our 2 dogs. They say the charge was for extra cleaning their housekeeping has to do. Which is odd cause in the book of rules we had to completely clean the house before our check out. Which we did, even the cob webs. Needless to say thank God I took pictures and screen shots of things. I disputed extra charge with my bank and won.

Loved it here!

We stayed here for our trip to Ohiopyle to ride our bikes on the GAP trail. This house was perfect for our group of 4 friends. The house had everything we needed and more. The layout was great. The location was perfect - close to town but quiet and relaxing out in the country. The hot tub was amazing after a busy day. We would love to stay here again!

Great spot!!

This place was great. It was my wife and I along with our two teens and two of their friends. We all had plenty of room to spread out get out of the heat. The location of the property was excellent for what we were looking for. We spent a majority of our time exploring Ohiopyle activities and the house is just a short drive. In the evening we had fires overlooking the mountains. There was always a nice breeze while sitting outside.

Family Getaway

Birthday Getaway

Went out to do some hiking for my birthday weekend. While the rain prevented us from doing more, it was nice having a beautiful house to hang out and have a good time with my friends. The hot tub was awesome. Wanted to use the grill but it was so greased up it wasn't sage. Let the host know and she got back to us in a timely manner. Very close to falling waters which was nice for our scheduled tour on Saturday. Would definitely recommend this place to people!

Seven Springs Trip

Perfect location, super view from the hot tub and fire pit

This property is superbly located. Half hour or less to everywhere we wanted to go. The sunset view around the firepit was wonderful. We did take chairs down to the pit. Swings are just not our speed.

Great house

This was the perfect place for our girls family weekend trip. Plenty of room for 7 of us, beautiful outdoor fire pit, clean with everything we needed for the weekend. Proximity to Falling Water and Ohiopyle couldn't be better, literally 2 minutes from one and 4 minutes from the other. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect weekend getaway

This property was the perfect weekend getaway! Family of 6, all over the age of 20, found this to be the perfect reset spot. Great hot tub, cool arcade cabinets, fantastic fire pit with swings! Overlooking the mountains and hills for a splendid view! Would/will book here again!

Perfect Location

Overall a great stay but there were some things that need attention. Pros - The location could not have been more perfect and convenient. The views were awesome! The house was very clean which is very important to us. Cons-The house definitely needs some updates; the carpet was extremely worn, the pots, pans, and cutting boards are scored beyond being safe to use and only plastic drink ware was available, and there is no fan in the awkward bathroom, the outdoor furniture was pretty gross, so I was thankful that we brought our own camp chairs. Also, we were disappointed that the yard was not fenced in as appeared in the photos, as we were traveling with our dog, and finally, I messaged the host that the coffee pot was broken on our 2nd day of stay, and she didn’t respond until after we checked out.

Fantastic Get Away

We had a great time at Misty Mountain. The home was well appointed, the views, fire pit, fireflies, hot tub and bird watching were fabulous! Very comfortable for a family of six with four young adults. Communication, descriptions and instructions were all accurate. Super close and easy drive to Ohiopyle. We loved hiking to Flat Rock and playing in the natural slides.

Would recommend to anyone!

My husband, baby son, dog and I stayed here for a weekend. We absolutely loved the house—lots of room for us all! We loved having a crib, high chair, and toys there. Our dog loved running in the backyard as much as we enjoyed the hot tub. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Great spot

Beautiful stay in a quiet rural setting. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Appreciated the collection of toys for the little ones in the family. Hot tub was a nice feature :)
