"The cabin was perfect and just what we needed. The lakefront property was idyllic and indeed the slice of wilderness heaven promised in the listing. The host, Barb, was helpful, kind, compassionate, and quite amenable and understanding. She even came out in a storm when we locked ourselves out by accident. The location and proximity to other jewels of Maine as well as the freshest of seafood and Maine home cooking made day trips a very feasible possibility! You can’t miss with this property...

"We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. "This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"This cabin was great for our family trip; we had 9 adults and 1 infant with more than enough room. Our host were great and communication as easy & fast response. I don’t think you can find a better place for the money in Bar Harbor. I am giving a brief cabin layout description because if you are like me you like to have the bedrooms assigned before you arrive. Even as adults’ children still complain about the room they get. Ugg! "Three days felt like a step back in time in this classic camp. Nothing to do but be still in a beautiful place. The far side of the lake boasts beautiful rocks and views of Spruce Mountain. The water was warm, the air clear. Multiple boats for our use were great. We spent hours on and in the water. Christian was a generous and friendly host. Thanks for sharing this place with us."

"Our first time in Maine and picked a perfect place for our stay. The cabin has a real rustic feel with direct access to the pond. We had enjoyed canoeing, paddle boarding and fishing. It is a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Also, only 15 minutes from the best cheesecake in Maine, MoMo's in Ellsworth.We cannot say enough about Vacasa customer service. They addressed our request promptly and professionally."
