"The area was beautiful and quiet and full of nature. The accomodation (& beds) was modern, warm, comfortable & had everything we needed. Communication was friendly & useful for how to get there & local dining options (which was also brilliant, friendly and delicious.) They had kindly started the fireplace before we arrived. "Bed was comfortable, the kitchen had good utensils and pans, etc, and the accommodation was very well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was no wash powder on the day we were there, but there was a huge washing machine and dryer available for use. I would recommend this accommodation to families and couples. It was very spacious. "

"We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. "My husband and I loved staying at Aloft. Very comfortable bed, beautiful sheets and top quality appliances throughout, KitchenAid knife block, jug n toaster, Dyson hairdryer etc. Kitchen has induction cooktop and convection microwave oven. Easy walking distance from IGA supermarket. Annie also adds that little extra...we had welcome chocolates in the fridge, Robert Timms coffee bags and continental breakfast provisions. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend Aloft. Thank you!"
