"Excellent staff, very clean room, nice bar with plenty of choice, breakfast was lovely, (i had the english breakfast), all for a bargain price in my view, would definitely stay again, in fact we already plan to stay here when were in the area again, if i had one small niggle it would be the quality of the rump steak i had in the evening, it was a very tough bit of meat, it wasnt the way it was cooked as it was exactly as I'd asked for, it was just quite tough and stringy"

"I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

"We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. "Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return "
