Cozy getaway
This place is a hidden gem. Beautifully decorated, clean, bed /coach is comfy, kitchen has all you need, and is 2-7 min from all attractions- just perfect. I also would like to state the host responds to all promptly and is very attentive. I totally recommend this place & will be back with family/ friends.

Middletown stay!
Brookes property was so clean and a perfect stay for my friends and I for our 4th of July get away! Would definitely recommend just a short uber away from downtown Newport!

They thought of everything!
They left nothing out! Anything you forgot, they had available from beach chairs/umbrella to makeup mirror! Beach towels, all linens, beautifully updated quaint apartment! Loved it!

Loved our stay!
This was such an adorable, cozy rental. There were A/C units and ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom, so the entire unit was cool and comfortable the whole time. The shower pressure was to die for. I wish I had that pressure at home. Plenty of hot water for our showers and for laundry (we LOVED having a washer/dryer in the unit!). They provided tons on towels and washcloths, which we found handy. The location is terrific. There’s a Walgreens and a Dunkin’ Doughnuts down the road, plenty of restaurants nearby, only 10 minutes from Easton’s Beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and Convenient
We found the property very comfortable for the two of us. We came to Newport for a wedding staying four days in the area. The property was very convenient to all the sights in the Newport area. We would return if given the opportunity to travel to the area again.

Perfect three nights in the perfect location!
Cute, clean, comfortable! Situated on a quiet street and parking was a breeze. Minutes away from all attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Newport, always a pleasure...
Our time shortened by a situation out of our control, the 4 days at the Maple Rd rental were extremely relaxing and enjoyable. Accommodations exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable and so accessible to all Newport attractions. Certain to return again! :)

Sweet little place, very close drive to beaches and all the sights in Newport. The apartment was great, comfortable and well stocked. Perfect for a casual traveler who’s looking for a feeling of home at the end of the day. Loved it!

The three "C"s cute, cozy, and clean!
Very nice clean and comfortable accommodations. Nicely decorated in beach theme. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was great. A very short drive to the mansions and beaches. Ocean scenic drive and the cliff walk are close by also. There are beach chairs, an insulated bag and beach towels in the closet in the living room and ice packs in the freezer. That was a nice plus and came in handy. The deck off the kitchen is small but works well for sitting and having a drink or reading a book. Overall great experience. We would recommend the apartment to family and friends.

A beautiful property!
When we arrived the place was immaculate, well decorated and snacks waiting for us! This is one of the nicest stays we have had at a home away property! The owner was always available. The location was perfect to spend time in downtown Newport. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Brooke did a great job at making our stay feel like home. It was a perfect spot for our trip to see friends in Newport for a weekend. I would recommend to any of my friends for sure!

The apartment was beautiful and immaculate. The few interactions we had with the owner were very smooth and she could not have been any more accommodating. The location was wonderful - close enough to everything we wanted to visit. It was under 10 minutes to the beach, to the wharf - to everything. I would whole heartedly recommend this listing and look forward to visiting g again.

Great stay
My husband and I stayed here for 4 days with our infant and toddler. The house was clean and well appointed and exactly as it looks in the pictures. We really liked the uncluttered beach house decor. It is a convenient location if you have a car - just a few minutes away from downtown Newport and Newport Vineyards, and a 3 minute drive to the supermarket. The only disappointment was that there was no grill, contrary to the listing description.

Great place
Nice stay. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed; sheets towels, washer and dryer. The host gave clear instructions for everything. I would recommend.

Great spot!
The apartment is clean and nicely decorated with updated kitchen and bath. It's a short drive to beaches or Newport. Overall a great experience! What you see in the ad is what you get.

Beautiful home in a great location

You get what you pay for.
My husband and I traveled to Newport at the tail end of October 2017. We chose this place was reasonably priced. The location is less than ideal - there are so many more attractive neighborhoods in the area I will look into when traveling back in the future. We had a rental car so it certainly was doable but, again, not ideal. It has been unseasonably warm pretty much everywhere so we were unpleasantly surprised that the AC unit had been prematurely put away for the season. To be fair, I did call Brooke about this the first day. She informed me the unit (a window unit) was in a closet in the apartment if we wanted to hook it up. My husband and I didn't feel comfortable doing that. We opened the windows and it was tolerable at night but uncomfortably warm during the days. However, the worst part of the experience was that the bathroom was not clean. The shower didn't drain water and there was grime on the floor. It's possible we caught Brooke in off season and it was just bad luck - but we felt gross in that bathroom. It also caused me to wonder how clean the rest of the apartment was (although we didn't notice anything outside the bathroom). My husband and I made the best of it and spent as little time as we could in the unit but (unfortunately) I wouldn't recommend it - even for the price.

I can't even find a way to respond to the couple that stayed in the apartment and wrote this damaging review, so I will respond to future guest. It was October 24-27th. We took the AC out of the windows because the weather report said high 60's during the day and low 40's at night. I would assume with that weather people would be using heat not AC. There are also ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. As far as the location if you read other comments below the location is perfect as it is a 5 minute car ride to beaches and downtown Newport. We had back to back bookings and both guest complained about the tub's slow drain in their reviews. I have a sign in the living room with my contact information. It clearly states please contact me with any concerns. I have a property management company that would have fixed the drain the moment they were made aware of the issue. As a result it has been addressed. As far as the cleanliness of the bathroom. The tub is a new bath fitters tub and the apartment was remodeled last summer. We also purchased new furnishings for the entire place. If you also read the reviews below it states the apartment is clean and super cute.

Diappointing
We were disappointed with this property because of: 1)the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke from the moment we stepped in the door and which continued throughout our stay. There were tenants/residents on the first floor who were smoking outside the bedroom window. 2) the drains in the bathroom sink and shower were slow and backing up. 3) as we were walking out of the apartment one afternoon we witnessed another resident/tenant in the building smoking a glass pipe in the yard in plain view of us and my 12 year old son.

Sarah, I am very sorry about your disappointment in your stay. I was told the smoke Smell was from the use of the fire place on the first floor. I have addressed the smoking issue with the first floor Tennant’s. This home is smoke free and I would like it to stay this way. If you had informed me about the drains I would have had the plumber there that day. Now that I am aware of the plumbing issue I have sent the plumber to fix the drains. Again I am very sorry about your stay. For future guest. The tenants have been evicted and I am currently on the first floor during the Summer Months.

So cute and clean!
The apartment was so cute and clean. Quiet area. It was located within 15 minutes of everywhere we needed to go for a wedding we were attending and to downtown Newport. We loved it!

Very nice!
Central location to the naval base and downtown as well as highways/bridge. Very neat and comfortable!! Had everything I needed and Brooke was very helpful with providing me receipts and information!
