Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Gale was an attentive and responsive host and her home was the perfect place for a brief girls' trip. The home was clean and exactly as pictured — the perfect, cozy, coastal getaway we had in mind when we imagined staying in Newport. We can't wait to visit again and will certainly rebook with you!

The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the comforts of home. My daughters both really appreciated being able to get ready at the light-up vanity, and my husband and I enjoyed having our coffee on the deck every morning. We were just a short commute to all of the sights and activities that we were interested in. Gale was extremely attentive and responsive, and the information packet that she provided came in very handy with restaurant recommendations and sunset spots.

Location was great. Real close to all the Newport, RI sights. Pretty cozy place, but very efficient. For a family of four, we didn't feel tight at all. Very much enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and well kept.

We had a great stay at Gale’s home. She was very responsive and super easy to communicate with. The house is in a great location and super easy to get to Newport from. We really enjoyed our weekend and hope to be back next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The house was meticulously clean and full of thoughtful touches to make our stay more enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we might have needed. The neighborhood is quiet and serene but also centrally located just minutes from the beaches and other attractions. Gale was incredibly responsive to our questions and very kind and thoughtful. We would love to stay there again.

Great place!

We had a day trip planned but decided to stay the night. last minute found this availability. proved to be everything we needed and more. Wish we stayed 2 nights but maybe next year. We did not utilize what was provided but to know it’s there next time is a plus! Neighborhood and cottage was prestine.

Wedding visit

It was clean and comfortable. Attractive neighborhood. Nice that coffee was available. Other nice amenities like W/D and BBQ which we didn’t get to use due to short stay. Easy, efficient communication and check in.

Perfect Long Weekend

The cottage was an adorable place to relax after being out and about all day. We loved the location - very close to all the main attractions in Newport. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Would absolutely stay there again.

Almost 5 stars

Property was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Almost 5 stars. The owner had scheduled boiler maintenance during our stay which would have left us without hot water for several hours. Once I protested, she rescheduled that for after our stay. There appeared to be lots of vacancy time when she could have scheduled that. Perplexed why she didn’t do that. There was a substantial leak under the kitchen sink that the owner didn’t know about. I put a pot underneath and made the owner aware. A walkthrough of the property by the manager periodically would find issues that need to be fixed. The house has been split into 2 units left and right side. There was one early morning that I heard the other tenants speaking loudly, having breakfast as they packed up to leave. Not an issue really just be aware that you are sharing the home with another unit. Also a few minor amenities could help: a small/medium fry pan, some lights were out (over stove). Overall a great stay with a few minor issues

Very nice

Very nice property. However it was a split property with the other half being someone else in; it sounded like a lot of water running through the pipes all night night running through the pipes all night

Great place to stay

The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring Newport. Very close to restaurants and shopping but walking isn't really an option because the neighborhood leads to a busy road with no sidewalks. Very inexpensive uber ride just about anywhere though. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic week in this great home

We spent a fantastic week with the family on this property, enjoying Newport and the bay. Everything is as the pictures show. Communication with Gale (the owner) was easy and quick. Thank you Gale! The only thing we missed is a little more walkability around the property

Great cottage close to everything

My 13 year old daughter and I stayed at the cottage for a week and had a wonderful time. It was close to everything yet far enough away from all of the busyness of Newport proper. We packed in so much - I wish I could fit it all here!
