Great place for families and friends
We had a destination wedding in Newport and this house was in a perfect place for our family. We were able to relax with family from across the country and do some sightseeing as well. The house is very comfortable with a convenient layout that made it easy to carry on conversations whether you were in the kitchen or the dining room or living room. The hosts were great. They checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok and were very responsive to questions we had. We would come here again for sure.

Great House for Families and Large groups
We had a great week and found the house to be great for an extended family. We enjoyed the spacious living area and the finished lower level is a great bonus. Plenty of room for teens or young children to watch their movies and play games. We didn’t walk to the beach, but it is a short drive away. We would definitely go back. Ryan and Becky were great hosts and very responsive.

Summer vacation
Fabulous home. Very accommodating and well stocked. We went with our three adult children and there was plenty of space for everyone. Location is fantastic, less than a five minute drive to Second Beach and Newport center. Tons to do and very comfortable overall. Communication with the owners was seamless. We hope to vacation in this home again!

Great location, quiet getaway
Home didn't have much upkeep to the outside. Was not able to use the grill, outdoor table or balcony as there were tons of leaves and grill was dirty and had mouse houses in it. Fan in master bed didn't work very well. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking pots and condiments. Close to stores and beaches. Lots of board games on rainy days. Quiet neighborhood. Owners were great, kept me informed of all check in details.

Hi Helena, Thanks again for staying with us and thank you for the feedback. Sorry you weren’t able to enjoy our outdoor space, but glad to hear the indoor space worked well. With respect to the leaves, our landscaper generally comes and does spring cleanup in mid April, as it’s typically still pretty cold out at the beginning of the month. And our apologies that the grill was not in great shape…it’s not used much in the winter months. Once the weather turns warmer, our housekeeper details it on a weekly basis. Spacious lovely home near Newport
This was the ideal home for our girls' weekend. Five comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room and dining area, lovely well-stocked kitchen. Modern, clean, and airy. The perfect peaceful home for a Newport weekend. Responsive and helpful hosts. Highly recommend!

Family weekend getwaway
This is a comfortable, lovely home and we really enjoyed our weekend. We cooked meals, played ping pong, and hung out on the cozy couch. The hosts were responsive and gracious. It was a gray, cold January weekend so we didn't use the patio or porch--added benefits, I'm sure, when the weather is nice. Views of the water and proximity to Newport were a good combo. Everyone in our party (ages 24 to 65) gave a big thumbs up.

Perfect for the whole family
We very much enjoyed staying at this property! We travelled with our large extended family, and I felt that it was very comfortable for everyone. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and did not require to sleep on a couch. I also travelled with my two young children (2 y/o and 5 months). The home had pack and plays, high chair, and baby gates for us to use, which was amazing (let’s be honest, the less baby gear to lug around the better!) ! Also, plenty of space to park.

Vacation with adult children
Large property with plenty of indoor and living space in addition to the bedrooms. We had 9 people in our group and never felt cramped. This property would also work well with young children. Plenty to do at the house - ping pong table, videos, games, books and a nice yard. Property is in a quiet residential neighborhood - very nice. As stated in listing this house is about a mile from First beach. We drove our things down in the morning and for us it was close enough to walk to/from as desired. Unless you are a real trouper or beach lightly it would be difficult to walk with your beach things to/from. Thames street/Bowen warf is about 1.5 miles. We did some walking there but is was easy to drive and find parking through the week. So much to do in the Newport/Middletown area. Great property, great location, great vacation!!

Location, Location, Location!
Tucked inside a quiet cul-de-sac is a great multi family house! It’s close to everything. We were able to navigate everywhere we wanted to go in and around Newport and nothing was ever over 15 mins away! We had plenty of room and wonderful communication with the owners. Three cheers to Multi-age travel!

Amazing home in Newport!
I am the Maid of Honor for my best friend and booked this home for a bachelorette! The entire group had nothing but great things to say about the home. It was conveniently located near town and offered more than enough space for our group! The home was clean and equipped with everything we might have needed. The owners were kind and responsive. My best friend couldn’t have been happier with her bachelorette!! Thank you Ryan and Becky!!

Wedding weekend
This was a great spot for us for the weekend that our daughter got married in Newport. It was just one mile from the church and 1.5. Miles from the venue - a quick Uber ride! The owners were gracious and responsive to our needs. There was plenty of space for all of us. Thank you Becky and Ryan!

Spacious home good location
Spent a week here with my family and my sisters family (9 adults) there was plenty of room - except for the basement the rooms down there had very moldy/musty smell. Location was good however the description may have exaggerated the proximity of beaches and downtown Newport (both were a 15 minute drive). Overall good home and good location.

Hi Kimberly, Thanks for the feedback on the basement and sorry for any inconvenience. One of our dehumidifiers recently stopped working, and without it, the basement can get a little musty in the warm & humid weather. Really Nice House
We enjoyed our stay. It was a short drive to get to all of the attractions, the restaurants, the beaches, the mansions and the parks. House very comfortable and had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped.

Our family vacation

Just as good as it can be.
This place is perfect. Sleeps many comfortably, Well stocked, Clean, Modern and in an amazing location in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to the beach with a beautiful walk and extremely close to downtown Newport. Extremely comfortable and AC throughout. Its everything you could ask for. Beautiful home! Perfect for a gathering of family and/or friends. Nice and roomy and very comfortable. Great location, yet private, clean and incredibly well stocked! (Could possibly use more regular glasses). Ryan was a delight to deal with. Very nice!!! They obviously want their guests to have everything they may need and enjoy the time while staying in their home. I would definitely recommend this house and if we go back I’d rent it again!

Wonderful weekend in Newport
I cannot say enough positive things about my stay in Middletown at Becky & Ryan's beautiful home. The location is perfect and is just a short ride to downtown, the beach and the cliffs. The house was pristine and comfortably fit 9-10 adults. The back deck and patio is an added bonus. The rooms were clean and bathrooms very large. Ryan and Becky were very attentive and excellent hosts. I would love to stay again next year!

Nice place for a good price, convenient location
We enjoyed our stay in this home. This was an family vacation with our adult children with some extended family and friends joining us. We could tell that the house has undergone some refreshing and updates and looked like they will be continuing to do so. So we weren't bothered by the minor things that needed replacement, etc. They use a cleaning service, so the place was clean. The kitchen and master bath we could tell was recently renovated/updated. The kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans, dishware, etc. We were so happy they had beach chairs they allowed us to use, which was great! We drove everywhere or used UBER as the area was easy to navigate around and found shortcuts to avoid the busy streets. Although you could walk to downtown Newport, it seemed to us, a little farther than worth the time and inconvenient to do. There are a lot of choices of things to do in the local area. The owners were attentive and checked in periodically to make sure things were fine. The common space was airy and bright with some skylights. And the sitting room (solarium) would be a great separate space to sit during the cooler months, but was too hot during our stay to use. All the beds were comfortable, but there was no air conditioning in the upstairs twin room or basement, fortunately the window opened in the twin room which allowed for a nice breeze which was sufficient for our guest to sleep at night.The week we were there was a hot one! The lower floor (basement) had no window in the bedroom (King) or living space, the only reason I mention that is that one of our guests refused to stay down there due to this. But, the guest who did, was fine.There were humidifiers down there that emitted heat which we adjusted periodically to keep the humidity down, but also keep the area cool. We suggested to the owners to put a reading light in there and in some of the other bedrooms. Also, because of the open living space, reading chairs in one or more bedrooms would have been appreciated, but we managed. We couldn't decide whether to rate this home 4 or 5 stars, due to minor inconveniences. Overall, we really don't have any complaints, we were really happy with our stay.

Perfect trip
We had a great week at this property. The home is spacious and can accommodate a large family yet provide privacy when needed. The backyard is private and fenced in. The owners are easy to work with (Ryan even texted us to be sure we had what we needed). It’s about a 35 min walk to downtown but it’s central to beaches and other activities. We will be back!

This house was well equipped for all of our family needs as we were travelling with young children and seniors. There was a pack n play, high chair, tons of movies and books as well as rooms on main level and stocked kitchen/laundry areas. Fenced in backyard with grill provided great opportunity for extended outdoor time.

Amazing home, great location and lots of space
From check in to check out everything was perfect. The house clean, the beds were comfortable, the setup was like a professional was hired to do it. The neighborhood was tucked away so discreetly you wouldn't know it was only a 15 minute walk to downtown Newport and 10,minmutes to Aquidneck. Ryan and Becky was awesome and very hospitable. I would definitly recommend checking this place out if ever you come to middletown or newport.

Big tables, comfortable beds
4 Beechland provided a wonderful home base for our family vacation. Everything in the description is accurate and like other reviews mentioned the home is well equipped with kitchen essentials and nice linens (plenty of sheets and towels). The kitchen and living room is a comfortable setup, new appliances, granite and nice sectional couch with flat screen TV. The deck and back yard are very comfortable and easy to use for outdoor dining, the backyard has a very nice large table which can accommodate a large group. Overall the neighborhood is very quiet. The master bedroom has a skylight which provides natural sunlight first thing in the morning, allowing for early rising. The bathroom on the second level is a Jack & Jill between the master bedroom and the hallway. The post mentions that it’s an easy walk or bike ride to downtown Newport and beaches. The streets do not have sidewalks and although Beechland is a quiet street you are quickly on busy, fast streets. If you are planning on biking and walking downtown this may be something to keep in mind. Overall a wonderful stay, thank you for having us! In addition, I would share directly with the home owner the following: 1. It would be great to have bathroom locks on all the bathroom doors 2. The seating area on the second floor really doesn't look over the main area, a little misleading 3. They really should put a shade or something over that skylight in the master

Perfect for our family vacation - close to beaches and Newport center, in a quiet neighborhood.
This is a nice home with good space in a quiet neighborhood that was perfect for our family vacation. The house itself has a good flow and has had some recent upgrades -- the appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, etc) seemed brand new, as was all of the furniture and bedding, which was lovely. The owners obviously take great care of their home. They were a pleasure to deal with -- they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed mid-week. The house is very close driving distance to the beaches and Newport. It was super convenient -- highly recommend!

Perfect house for intergenerational gathering!
Ryan and Becky provided everything one would need for a great family stay in Rhode Island. The house is modern and well-furnished in contemporary style, and the kitchen has everything one needs to be at home there. The basement was a treasure trove of CDs with titles for all kinds of fans, especially the children. The robust collection of current fiction and nonfiction books made one want to stay home for a day. Thank you Ryan and Becky for a truly memorable vacation house.
