"Awesome home with lots of history."

"Our stay at Herons watch was wonderful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever want and need. We brought our boat and launched it at the bridge which was easy and the ride on the lake back to the house was smooth and easy. The views are awesome. We enjoyed family meals and sitting on the porch , had a camp fire, played games, fished and relaxed. I highly recommend this home for a quality vacation thank you"

"Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Newly renovated. Like a little townhouse apartment."

"Great location, plenty of space, everything in house worked as described. Thank you!!"

"The fact that 1 dog was welcome is the primary reason I chose this location. Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending. The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. Noise from the road was not any problem, and good roads nearby was a plus. The owner has a house on the road into the camp, well separated from camp. "Wonderful comfortable place with the best view in the valley. All the amenities you need for great vacation. "

"We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom...

"This mountain retreat is stunning from the views to the amenities, with an enormous kitchen, well stocked with just about any cooking utensil/dish you could imagine. It is private, with spacious sleeping quarters and absolutely stunning views! The hot tub was amazing! This place accommodated my extended family with room for more! We made homemade pizzas in the pizza oven which was both hilarious and delicious! Our hosts were super helpful. I had a bunch of questions before booking and they were...

"The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. "

"We've stayed multiple times in this property and it's always been great. Beautiful house, landscape, and of course the views. The house is always very clean and well maintained. We look forward to our next stay here."
