Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home during our multi-family vacation! The house was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone to unwind. We especially appreciated the multiple quiet areas, which offered a nice break from the larger group when needed.The only minor downside was the cottonwood trees, which were shedding quite a bit during our stay. It didn’t detract from the experience, but it’s something to keep in mind if you're visiting in early summer.Highly recommend this home to any families looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-located place to stay!

Beachcomber stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Beachcomber house was well maintained, with the lone exception of the plastic outdoor furniture around the fire pit. Two of the chair broke and shattered when sat in and two or three others emitted a noticeable cracking sound when sat in. No doubt being subjected to the elements year-round has made them brittle and the should be replaced.The only other issue was that our golf cart did not work and it took a full day and a half to get a functioning one from Beachwalk.Otherwise, all was good and we had a great time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time here on our family vacation! We had ages 6 weeks to 80 years old with us and all enjoyed themselves. The property was very clean, only complaint was the floors had not been mopped and were very dirty. Everything else about the decor and amenities were great. We would definitely recommend staying at this property to our friends and family.

Beachcomber is a great property and worked really well for our group of 5 adults and 5 children. The amenities on property (pool, fishing pier, splash pad, coffee/ice cream, etc. were all exactly as described and did not disappoint. The beach at Lake Michigan was phenomenal. Overall a great trip and great experience!

It had everything we needed, plenty of space, ver comfortable beds which is important to us. Having the golf cart was great and the hot tub was an added bonus. Will stay there again for sure!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to the area before but it was out first time at Beachwalk resort. I loved the location and the amenities. The house was not guest ready, the bathrooms had red mold, the floors were dirty and the rugs in bathrooms had dog hair (for a house that does not allow pets).The house lacked beach towels and fishing poles... which given the amenities should be provided by resort or house. The resort sent cleaners each time we discovered something new was dirty, but it definitely affected our experience and vacation and made us doubt the cleanliness of the entire home, sheets, towels,etc. Ultimately, we ended up leaving a day early. The location was great, having the golf cart was awesome and having somewhere to go for a bite and ice cream was definitely a highlight. We were too scared to open the hot tub and find it gross- so can’t comment on that. Couches need a good cleaning and please switch out/ wash all the rugs. The house is beautiful, what a shame it wasn’t clean enough to be enjoyable, and for small children. Gates with those stairs and a high chair should be included.

Wonderful Vacation at Beachcomber

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at Beachcomber. The house was immaculate, and everything looked almost brand new. We appreciated the location (close to the rear Beachwalk exit, the overflow parking, and super easy walking distance to Lake Kai, the playground and the pool). The golf cart and fire pit were great also! This house was perfect for our vacation. We had 8 adults and 2 children and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen/living room area was the perfect gathering space for our entire group. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we might have needed -- the cabinets were even labeled (that was impressive!). We will probably try to stay at Beachcomber again next year! Thank you so much.

We called and a maintenance man came, after he checked a few things, he mentioned he was not able to fix it and would have someone else come, no one showed up the rest of the week. Other than the hot tub, the place was very nice.

The house is very well appointed with furniture/kitchen utensils and beach accessories. We would stay again!

Reviewer Comments: newer home was in great shape. appropriate amount of bathrooms and bedrooms for our group. There were a few things that didn't work. Fan and light in upstairs bedroom didn't work but we were brought a fan. screen in porch door is torn, and refrigerator door doesn't seal very well. It would be nice to have a bigger golf cart or 2 carts for a house that sleeps 16; especially for the money spent. We did go without power for over 7 hours which seemed a bit long. The two couches in main living room need some cleaning. overall our entire family enjoyed the stay.

We had toured Beachcomber two years ago and wanted to stay in it ever since. Our only complaint was that there were only two beach chairs for a house that sleeps 20. So we went and bought some. Other than that we were extremely happy and had everything we needed!

Reviewer Comments: The house was new and clean but missing some basic items, like clocks and lamps. The “backyard” is tiny and basically all sand with a fire pit. Not great for very little kids. The golf cart was very useful. Beach was beautiful. Pool was not open consistently and the front desk was not helpful in addressing this issue.
