We LOVE this resort! It was so much fun on Labor Day weekend. The staff was friendly and very responsive. The community was great. The pool was still warm enough. The park was also amazing! My kids loved every minute and cried when we left. The short walk to the lake from our property (by the office) was perfect. We did find a few spiders in the guest house which is not their fault and may have been the time of year. I didn’t realize we booked the guesthouse when I booked but it was great for a short stay with good weather for a family of 4! Not much room to kick back and relax.

Cute, Serviceable Home Base

The property doesn't over-promise and it worked out great for our purpose, which was to have a "home base" while visiting family nearby. While the kitchen and deck were great to have, I would't plan on spending too much time in the house as it is quite small! Great deck, relative privacy for the development. The Beachwalk resort itself seems good for families, we were a bit out of place as a group of four adults! Awesome beach access. Certainly preferable location-wise as compared with hotels in Michigan City or other properties with difficult access to beaches and local amenities.

We had so much fun!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, allow me to say that the staff is outstanding!! It is obvious that their quests are their #1 priority. They are knowledgeable, have answers with solutions and are so customer focus. We loved everything about the location of this unit! Location is by the pool, small lake, open gathering area (karoke was a blast), snack shop and short walk to the beach. The reason not a 5 star is the unit could have been updated a bit. However, the unit has everything you need. There is also a lot to do in the area. We will definingly return. Can't wait to return and we would stay in the same unit!!

Winter Fun at a Summer Retreat

Beachwalk Resort is only a 5 minute walk to Lake Michigan and short drive to shopping and a revitalized downtown with a selection of restaurants.

Love this resort!

When we pulled up, we seriously thought this rental property was abandoned because the weeds in the fenced in area, between the house and the fence was completely grown up. The resort staff where you check-in was VERY accomodating. They even (somehow) knew what rental property we were checking into, and each time we went to ask a questions, etc. they remembered what property we were staying at. Super impressive and excellent customer service! I wish properties were able to be rented out a year in advance and you didn't have to book 7 days when booking a year in advance. This area is amazing, but definitely couldn't keep yourself busy for 7 days! We were there for 2 nights and a day and a half. Which was perfect. This rental property is the perfect size for a small family with one or two kiddos. Anymore than that, you will be crammed! The kitchen was updated and the grill was a nice amenity. Bed was not the most comfiest and you can tell they don't clean the comforters or the pillow shams. Other than that, everything was clean. Cute, quaint and very nice location to the beach, pool, playground and the lake. This rental does NOT come with a wagon or golf cart like the description said.
