Everything about the home was great for our 3 generations. Pool was a standout, but the bedrooms, indoor and outdoor spaces fit all our needs.

I attempted repeatedly to get the host to address several issues with this house, especially the lack of and/or inconsistent hot water in 3 of the 5 bathrooms. During our 9 day stay, we never were able to get hot water in 2 bathrooms and 1 would get hot water for a short time and then turn cold. I texted, emailed and contacted the host live by phone and they eventually sent out a maintenance person, who, after checking several things and the wall mounted, on-demand water heater, they indicated that the unit needed to be replaced and he would need to speak with his boss. The problem persisted and after again contacting the host, they promised they would have "their maintenance team" at the home the next morning. No one ever came and I simply continued to receive messages that they "were happy to report that the hot water problem was resolved". Also, the exhaust fans never worked in 3 of the bathrooms. When the kitchen faucet stopped working, we were forced to take it apart to get it working again because we knew that no one would respond timely. The Wifi in the main house was very unreliable and we were never able to get any Wifi connection at all in the pool house, making the TV there unusable!. Every time I reported Wifi connection problems the host simply responded and asked me to unplug the modem, even after I had done this multiple times with no improvement. The ice maker in the kitchen fridge did not work and the extra fridge in the garage didn't make ice.

Excellent communication by host. Outstanding pool and backyard with activities for all ages both indoor and outdoor. Very comfortable beds. Very well-equipped kitchen. Very convenient location in north Miami, easy access to downtown Miami and beaches. Would recommend for large family or friend groups.

I wish I could give zero stars. This was hands-down the worst rental experience I’ve ever had, and I strongly suspect fraudulent practices.I originally booked a beautiful 7-bedroom mansion specifically to accommodate my bridal party, groomsmen, and both families for wedding planning. The home we chose had two living rooms, a theater, and a spacious covered outdoor area—perfect for our group of 12, especially given Miami’s rainy season. This property was exactly what we needed, and I spent over 10,000 coordinating this trip.Three days before check-in, the host called to say that house was “no longer available” and offered a smaller property with only 6 bedrooms. It was already disruptive—we had to re-coordinate our catering and events at additional expense—but we accepted because we had no choice. Then, three hours before check-in, the host called again and said that house was also suddenly unavailable due to “damage.” The only option offered was a house that cost a third of what I paid, with only 5 bedrooms and just 2 bathrooms, completely inadequate for the size of our group.This completely ruined my wedding planning trip. My fiancé and his entire family had to scramble for other accommodations last minute. We couldn’t even be together, and all the careful planning and savings went to waste. To make matters worse, the final property we were forced into was tiny, uncomfortable, and completely unfit for our group. I was devastated. Worse experience ever.

Reality didn’t meet expectations

Let me start by saying that our team was very excited to stay at this property! The pictures looked amazing and it seemed like a very upscale place to stay, which is what we were looking for - especially for paying 1400/night. The communication with the property manager before hand was less than ideal, but manageable. We were really hoping to get an earlier check in and were willing to pay, but didn’t receive official communication about check in until the check in time. But all of that would’ve been easier to deal with if the rest of the trip had gone as planned. At first arrival, we noticed the house was remodeled in more of a “DIY” way. I have a construction background and I’m also a property manager for a VRBO listing, so I know the quality needs to be there in order to charge such a high nightly rate. Finishes were done poorly, floor boards were uneven, the hot water didn’t work in the showers, and the overall home was in pretty poor condition. Especially for such a high price. But again, all of that would’ve been overlooked if it hadn’t been for the BUGS. As it got closer to bedtime, we quickly realized there were bugs in the bedrooms and even in the beds. We did some research and came to find out they were termites, and they were everywhere. We tried to stay out of the house and the bedrooms as much as possible, as we were all pretty grossed out by the whole situation. I would highly recommend taking this property off of VRBO until the problems are fixed.

Enjoyable Stay

Overall we were pleased with our stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the outdoor space was very nice. The communication with the host was slow, but all of our needs were met and there were no unresolved issues. I would stay at this property again.

Just what we needed

This home was everything. We are a group of retired Army Veterans. We started this annual trip to Miami back in 2017, haven't missed a year since. We have stayed in a lot of nice vacation homes during these trip. This one by far has been the topper. The place has everything. If we didn't have prior literary. We wouldn't have left the home. This home is equipped with all the entertainment you need to just stay there and not go out😁. I would recommend this home to anyone. Kids or no kids. The management was great with communication. hing you need. We didn't have a prior itinerary

Beautiful house, even better than the pictures. Only small issue during the stay was not many towels, messages the host and they sent more immediately. We had agreed to a late check out at 11AM but the cleaners came at 10 knocking on the door, we were able to stay until 11. Afterwards, the host messaged about what appeared to be a very small amount of damage to the ping pong table, and submitted a bill for $400. Fortunately we had the insurance which covered everything. Overall amazing house for a large group, but would recommend the insurance option.
