I never write reviews, this is my first one. And I hate bad reviews as business owner myself, but I just don’t want anyone else have to go through what we had to. We rented this property for our kids spring break. Overpaid of course for those days to begin with. The condo itself is a nice size but it is so DIRTY. Looks like it was never vacuumed before. Cleaning service left us with two clean towels that looked like they were used for mopping and we had to go buy some until 3 days later we opened the washing machine and saw all wet towels left there and in the dryer without any note to us. Make sure you get some toilet paper too. And Paper towel. And if I’d be you I’d wash all the dishes before I’d use them - they look terrible. Safe doesn’t work. Oven doesn’t work. Microwave was never cleaned before.
The building is just HORRIBLE. Locals call Hyde buildings as ELEVATORLESS meaning- you have 4 elevators for the whole entire building- meaning you have to wait 30-40min for the elevator. So when you’re checking out at 11AM get prepared- we’ve waited for 45min. While we stayed there someone pooped in the pool - it took management an hour before they even told everyone to get out. So all the kids where swimming in the pool with the poop for an hour. Pool was overcrowded most of our vacation. We had to wake at 7 am and save the spots for ourselves to make sure we have where to lay down. And the pool opens up at 7am so if you think that you can come and enjoy it at 7 am - haha - that’s when they start cleaning it until 9:30am. They have one security person downstairs constantly on her cellphone and not caring about anything else. The only way to contact front desk is to go downstairs or text them and wait for 3 hours for the response. If you think it’s ok to overpay but at least you’ll be close to the beach - forget about it! Beach is so DIRTY. No one ever cleans it. So you and your kids will end up walking over all the ocean garbage. Overall just don’t believe nice pictures and newly build building- it’s just money maker for someone and a zoo for you.
