This property was in a prime location for our trip to Miami over New Years. We were able to enjoy Miami Beach, Calle Ocho, the Everglades, Key Biscayne, and many of the art districts in Miami without much driving. The property was clean, very well stocked (including coffee and some welcome gifts), and had a great fenced in area for our dog and for grilling dinner. Only a block from Calle 8, this location is perfect for your visit to Little Havana, music, Cuban food, and art/shopping. In a very safe area of Miami, we walked around every night (with two teenagers), and we would definitely stay here again! The recommendations we got for destinations and Cuban food were also spot on!

Alberto was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating! He allowed us to drop off our luggage early so that we didn't have to carry it all around or leave it in a hot car. It was a great perk to have a spot to park our car as well. The casita was more spacious than we expected, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a very short walk to Calle Ocho, so we could easily explore the area many times during our stay. Loved all the tasty food, the murals, and the music of Little Havana. We wished we'd had more time to enjoy even more meals there! We'd definitely stay again the next time we're in the area!

This is a cute place to stay in a location convenient to all things Little Havana! This was our first trip to the area, and we were a little taken aback by all the barred-up windows and gates, until we realized that this is in part related to the Cuban culture. The property seemingly used to be a garage, so it is a little chopped up. There is a step into each room. So, if you have difficulty with more than a couple of steps, this may not be the place for you. Alberto was great about responding promptly, he gave a list of recommended places to eat that were within walking distance, as we did not have a car. We did not need one for this location. Grocery stores, laundromats, A LOT of restaurants, and even a Starbucks and the "Cuban" McDonald's are within walking distance. The house was well stocked with everything we would need during our stay. The house was a short ride from the Miami airport as well as to the Miami cruise port. Given the opportunity to visit the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Walking distance of Everything!

Wonderful place to stay, the host is amazing! Will stay here again! It's located right smack in the middle of where you want to be. This is the Miami you want to visit! Stay away from the poorly maintained boutique hotels at South Beach. Stay here instead. You will not regret it.

Great place to enjoy Little Havana

We came as a family and had a wonderful time. The check in process was an easy one with great instructions sent prior to our arrival. Once we arrived, we were sent a list of recommendations for restaurants, to ice cream shop, etc. in the neighborhood that are walking distance Which we did take the recommendation of the ice cream shop, called Azucar. The home was clean and also had helpful information right on the desk to answer our questions. They even left a frame as a gift to take home that says “Llttle Havana 25” on the frame. Which we filled with a great family picture in front of Azucar. Overall, a great experience and would recommend to others. Very nice and communicative hosts.

Great stay!

Stayed here for 6 nights and absolutely enjoyed my stay. The property is so spacious and clean and the hosts are so kind and accommodating. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and in a great location. Will definitely be back next time I’m in miami. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Location, Location, Location!

Location was a must in our trip but, Alberto was very quick in providing assistance and replied all our questions.It is a simple house but, with easy access, secure, all the amenities a family of 4 may need. There are grocery stores, restaurants, bus, touristic stops and within 3 to 5 blocks. I definitely recommend Alberto's place!

Great location!

We have visited Miami several times -staying in Homestead and Miami Beach. I wanted to explore a different area and this Casita was the perfect location. We walked each day to El Pub for coffee and Empanadas for breakfast and restaurants on Calle Ocho for dinner and drinks after. We loved this location! We also visited Key Biscayne and Vizcaya which were pretty much a straight drive from this location. The host was very communicative- let us know when the property was ready (early) and gave us suggestions of restaurants and helped me find a local laundromat (we were heading to Miami Beach after). The casita is good size -not perfect but very clean which is most important and a very good value. The host also provides a cooler ( we took cold water with us each day which saved us money), beach towels and even a beach umbrella. I was on vacation so I didn't cook but there were plenty of spices and kitchen supplies. It was probably the best supplied VRBO kitchen I have been in, in a long time.We would definately stay here again!
