This rental was not as presented. I ignored the bad reviewed I read ahead of time and thought it was probably just those renters-it wasn’t! While it was clean, it needs attention given to small repairs and touch ups and the furniture needs to be updated. There are limited outlets by the beds and only one nightstand. There are no ceiling fans and the bathrooms have no exhaust fans. One bathroom with a stand up shower is so tight, it was difficult for an adult male to stand and wash. There are no hooks to hang towels to dry, which you need to do as only a limited number of towels are provided. There is plenty of shampoo and body wash, and very cheap toilet paper,but no hair dryer. It was well stocked with trash bags and kitchen cleaning supplies. The elevators in the building take a very long time, if you take the stairs, you will be outside of the building. Beyond arriving from a 16 hour drive and being disappointed with the status of the rental, the worst part was the LOUD construction starting everyday around 5-6AM. The building is working on the elevator which happens to share a wall with the one bedroom of this rental. We got no sleep because of this. HORA rentals knew this and did not provide this info, they continue to take rentals while this is going on. We left early as a result and when we asked about this and learned they knew the construction was going on, they didn’t offer us any refund! I do not recommend this rental!

As advertised

Exactly what the listing showed. Great location at the beach. The hotel property was nice with two pools and a good bar/restaurant. It was also very convenient to the awesome Miami Beach running path. The suite was as shown. It’s an older two bedroom. The hotel workers and property management company were very helpful.

Great place

A long weekend with some of my oldest friends to catch up. The room was clean and as advertised. The beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach was what we expected and what we received. The adult pool was also a great place to relax and grab some drinks from the friendly staff.

Loved this stay!

I came here with 5 friends for my 31st birthday. We absolutely loved this apartment which is located in the Alexander resort/hotel. It’s spacious and comfortable. The hosts are communicative and great to work with. I think we will stay in this building again.

Unsafe for toddlers, and not as described in listing.

When we arrived at the condo we instantly saw unsafe and exposed wiring in the living area by the TV that was exposed to toddler hands. Not to mention the loose outlets in the larger bedroom. This gave me anxiety the whole stay. The place was “cleaned” but we found long black hairs in the towels and mold in the bathrooms. The paint and ceiling was chipping in both bathrooms, it was hard to feel clean after showering. The bidet had broken handles so I assume it didn’t work. We were treated as second rate as you aren’t actually guests of the resort, so we felt unwelcome. The only thing this place had going for it was the location. So I think next time I’ll just book through the resort. I tried to keep in mind that this is someone’s home, but there’s a severe lack of upkeep and general maintenance especially when renting out. So we were quite disappointed.

No Hospitality and tiny bathroom

Loved arriving to this big beautiful PINK tower. the interior was very gorgeous Going from the pool area to the beach was refreshing. However: upon entering, the front desk staff, security nor the concierge greeted me and none were helpful with the questions myself or friends asked re: good places to eat, sightseeing etc. And we were not kids on spring break nor drunk . The Unit 1010 was clean and refreshing,. Being able to get a quick response from the owners when I texted was AWESOME. The unit was a nice size, but what took us all by surprise was the size and the inward door swinging second shower. VERY SMALL!! We ended up having to use one shower. And our TV ( for the little bit of time we watched it) kept losing its signal . The unit was very well stocked with supplies ( dish detergent, plates, silverware, etc. We chose not to allow housekeeping in our room so I can not comment on the cleaning staff. Overall our stay in the Alexander unit 1010 was good and relaxing.
