Probably one of our favorite stays. Property could use some updating and repairs, but it was still charming and didn’t affect our overall opinion of the place. If you want a comfortable space in a high priced community with beautiful scenery and easy parking, this is your spot. If our family ever visits Miami again we will 100% check here first.

Bay Harbor VRBO

I and a couple of friends stayed at the property for 2 weeks. We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed the view. Scott is a very helpful and gracious host and I highly recommend the property for a nice getaway. It is very spacious and we had loads of room to relax and enjoy ourselves.

This property is spectacular. very spacious, room for a large group to have privacy. direct water access unlike anything you have ever seen. i would not hesitate to book again!

Absolute bliss!

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, this is the place for you. Incredible sunsets and a peaceful setting all within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Owner has kayaks and paddle boards for use with plenty of life jackets. We had kids from age 2 to 16 and everyone had a great time!

Villa La Vue is in a fabulous location and has tons of space, and the access to the bay right from the backyard is really a special feature. Scott was very communicative throughout our stay. I had a great time on my trip to Miami with my group. Thank you!

Location, location, location!

We had the best time at Scott’s property. We weren’t able to check in on time, but we found other things to do within walking distance to fill time. The property is older and it shows, but it was very clean the backyard was EVERYTHING!!! Our family of 13 had plenty of room. Scott was not on property this past week, but he kept in touch and made sure we were taken care of! We would definitely stay at this property again!

Absolutely lovely place

This property is beautiful, comfortable, well maintained and a great place to stay. Scott, the host, is amazing. He is gracious, honest, helpful in every way and truly makes himself available. The photos are accurate- yes it is that lovely! The setting could not be better- it is peaceful and you are right on the water- making it grand to dine in or outside, and enjoy the paddle boards and the kayaks. The walk to the beach is about 10-12 minutes, and is easy. Bay Harbor Islands sit adjacent to Surfside and Bal Harbour so their restaurants, shopping, and pristine beaches are at your fingertips. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants in Bay Harbor islands as well. We had the most wonderful time and hope to return again soon. Thank you Scott!

Bay Harbor Island retreat

The property description is accurate. House held a family of 11 very comfortably. Neighborhood is quiet, nice. Being on the water, overlooking a golf course is a great sunset and close to the beach. Scott is very easy to work with and was very accessible prior to our stay, and certainly during the stay. We had a problem with air conditioning and he was hands on getting it fixed asap..and getting techs in these days is a challenge. We would recommend staying here and working with Scott. Thank you Scott for allowing our family to have a great Thanksgiving week in South Florida

Wonderful family weekend

Can’t say enough good things about this property or Scott our host. The house was perfect for our needs - we had 8 women - all had our own sleeping quarters and the common area (living room, dining room, bar) was awesome for our nightly dinners and gab sessions. It was in a great location, easy to get Ubers, and we felt very safe. All the essentials were provided - including plenty of bath and beach towels. The outdoor space was great - we spent several mornings having coffee and a couple of us went kayaking one day. Gorgeous views sunrise and sunset. Scott was a great host - very responsive to our questions and extremely helpful to the group who went kayaking - providing guidance and answering questions. We make this family trip every year and this was one of the best! Thank you Scott :)

Beautiful home with an amazing view

Better than the photos! The outdoor area is wonderful with a grill and plenty of lounge chairs to read and watch the sunset. My family loved the great fishing in the dock and we even saw a dolphin swim by! Scott is very attentive and responsive. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great location and plenty of space in the home even for a large group of 13.

We had a great experience. Scott was easy to communicate with and addressed issues very quickly. Over all we enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboards, swimming in the bay. We would definitely consider staying in this property again.
