It all started when we arrived at the front desk at 11:30pm and were told they had no reservations under our name! After going back and forth with SCoast LLC over the app and them apologizing for not sending our info to the front desk (after I pad them up front weeks earlier) and claiming they’ll now do it, it never happened! After 1hr of trying to deal with this the front desk told me to just buy a room out of my own pocket and then trying to get in touch with the owners the next morning. So I paid 2x what I planned to spend with SCoast LLC and got a room that was much smaller than what I had booked with this owner. This owner finally got my information over to the front desk by the next day so I had to move rooms. That was 5 days ago and they had given me SUCH a had time. I have spent more than 5 hours over the app and with VRBO customer service escalation department and I still don’t have any refunded. They’ve behaved like criminals trying to give me the run around so I’ll just get tired of getting reimbursed. I may need to take them to small claims court if the refund doesn’t come through.And all this in addition to the fact that the room was pretty gross: the walls were dirty, the safe was broken and they refused to have it fixed, the lightbulb in the bathroom was out, the silverware was random and didn’t match. Even little things like the dishwasher liquid was half used.I’ve stayed at Marenas at least 10 times and this room was by far the worst cleanliness, etc
