Honestly, best property I have ever experienced!! The host, Jessica, wa amazing!! Great customer service and open to suggestions. For our family of 13 perfectly, we were able to have meals both inside and outside all together. Would recommend if you love beautiful surroundings, amenities, and comfortable spaces!! An Unforgettable Stay – Perfect for Families!

We had one of the best lodging experiences of our lives at Pine Cone House. The house exceeded our expectations in every way: it was incredibly comfortable, and it’s clear that Jessica and Sérgio thought of every detail and every possible way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The place is perfect for families with children—not only is the house very safe for kids, but it also offers plenty of entertainment for them, from fun meal trays and seat boosters to lots of toys and books. I would have to write a huge text to describe everything this place offers.On top of all that, the house was impeccably clean, and the location is great—close to a grocery store, a gas station, and local shops. Jessica was incredibly friendly, always available to answer our questions, gave us great recommendations, and communication with her was perfect. She was also very flexible with some requests we made. We can’t wait to come back many more times!

Winter getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Pine Cone house. The home was perfect for me and my husbands extended family, including 4 boys between the ages of 3-5. There were so many thoughtful touches that helped to make our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. Jessica was incredibly responsive and kind throughout all of our correspondence. We would consider staying there again.

The relax and fun getaway you need

Booked the Pine Cone House for a birthday weekend getaway and I highly recommend! Beautiful home with awesome views in the back patio! Having a hot tub was a nice perk as well along with their game room! We had so much fun staying here and not needing to leave, so I’m sure you’ll feel the same when you book it as your next getaway

Perfect!

This home was perfect. It had everything we needed, as well as the perfect “homey” feeling. Everything was fully equipped and the scenery was superb. The host was also very caring throughout the duration of the stay and made sure we had a “5-star experience”!!!

Great home in the mountains

We had a great stay at the Pine Cone House! The host Jessica, was fantastic and excellent to work with. Great communication! I think she has thought of everything a family with kids and pets would need! We will definitely be returning, highly recommend!

Family ski trip

Place was perfect for our extended family ski trip with 6 kids. The house was clean, spacious, and very close to Dodge Ridge Ski resort. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Family snow weekend

Our stay at the Pine Cone House was great! The house has everything you need for a fun, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect- close to Dodge Ridge for skiing and Black Oak Casino for a little gambling. The house was stocked well and the charging stations, Wi-Fi and TV options were great for all age groups. Communication with Jessica, our host, was easy and she replied promptly to all inquiries. We were expecting a big snow storm and Jessica helped us plan for every potential outcome. We would definitely like to stay here again and would recommend this house to those thinking of visiting the Twain Harte area.

The PERFECT home for a Girls’ Getaway Weekend!

Our group of 9 friends truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Some places just don’t live up to the photos or description of the posting but the Pine Cone House is even better in a real life. Every thing; the fully equipped kitchen, the comfortable sofa, the large dining table, the outdoor spaces (2 decks!!) and the beds and baths were perfect. But it was also the “little” things; ceiling fans, dimmer switches, charging pads, numerous outlets and power strips, nightlights, full length mirrors, and having everything LABELED that just made it that much more perfect!! The host was so easy to communicate with and when we had two very small problems (a smoke alarm beeping due to low battery and a can opener not working) she sent someone immediately to solve it. We saw deer on a walk through the neighborhood and enjoyed some time at the beautiful PineCrest Lake nearby. We were having so much fun we realized after we left that we forgot to sign the guest book so we all agreed we’ll have to go back again so we can do it next time! We also talked about returning with our own families because it really is a wonderful home with a fantastic host.

Truly a wonderful property in the Lake Pinecrest area. I have stayed at several other places and this house is hands down the best. The house has a wonderful layout with large windows and doors so that you are surrounded by trees. There are two very large balconies, one one each floor with lovely private views.The kitchen is spacious and the living room is very comfortable. There is an amazing garage with interesting lighting and games. The beds are clean and comfortable. And the piine-cone decor is very cute. The parking is easy, no steep hills or curves. I really did not want to leave this house! Would also like to mention that the host is very accommodating both before and after the trip. I had forgotten something at the house and was able to contact the host and go back and collect my item. Overall, very highly recommend this house!

Every Little Detail!

The property surpassed all expectations of what a rental home should be! Jessica was extremely responsive to my questions before and during our stay. The house layout, activities and amenities really showed the level of care and detail needed for hosting family and two small infants. There was an extra booster seat, pack and play, games throughout, and a very nice deck for grilling and enjoying the beautiful weather. Next time we go to pinecrest we will definitely stay here!

Lovely, well equipped home!

We had a mother/daughter weekend with 5 moms and 5 teen daughters and there was plenty of space for us all. The home maintained a cabin charm while being aesthetically stylish and updated; it was even more beautiful than the pictures. There is a large assortment of kitchen accessories that all functioned nicely! The garage is made into a fun game room where the homeowners have thought of everything - board games, lawn games, sunscreen, bug spray, and even scavenger hunts for kids. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and straightener were in every bathroom and they even provided a cute "in case you forgot . . ." basket! The deck was fabulous and the neighborhood was quiet! We would highly recommend staying at Pine Cone House and will stay again when we next visit the area.

Wonderful Experience!

Jessica was a wonderful host- She was super communicative and flexible with anything that came up. The cabin was very clean, well laid out to fill our family of 6 easily, and had all the things we needed. I would definitely visit again and would recommend anyone considering the area to stay here!

Beautiful place to stay

We brought our adult children and their families for a weekend getaway. The house was picture perfect. Very clean and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for anything else. We loved everything about it. While enjoying the outside fireplace, we saw a beautiful bald eagle fly right near us. We would definitely book The Pine Cone House again!

Amazing experience

My family and a couple other families stayed at this property for 2 night. We have children aged from 6 to 16. We all agreed that our experience is pretty amazing. Location: it's at a quiet neighborhood, close to 108, but not close enough to hear any noise from the highway. Property: house is not very new but it's very well maintained and super clean. Everything is very well documented. The host (Jessica) has prepared all supply that is listed in the listing page plus some extra thoughtfully. Host: Jessica is always responsive and considerate. She provided clear instructions before/during our stay and made the check-in/out process smoothly. Everyone in our group was impressed with her warm hospitality and thoughtfulness to her guests. We will definitely come back when we are visiting the area again, and we appreciate Jessica for providing such a lovely place to make our trip a huge success. ❤️

Just like Home!

I wanted to start off by saying that this is the first time we have ever stayed at a Vrbo that truly felt like home! All rooms were spotless with CLEAN sheets and quilts. Every room came with a tv and roku remote, it was very convenient and we were able to watch the World Cup final on our last morning there. Jessica truly thought of every single thing to be accommodating during our stay. If we needed foil, she had it, grilling supplies–she had it, even kids plates/cups etc were provided. The first floor is an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms, one including its own bathroom. The dining table is huge with plenty of seating and there are also the bar stools at the kitchen counter that are also convenient. Throughout the house, tiny signs were provided with information, which was super helpful! There were cell phone charging docks provided throughout the house, which was an awesome detail! The open plan of the home makes it great for your party of up to 12 guests. They even made the home childproof as well as had a baby booster set for feeding and a baby pack and play crib in the master room. Also, we noticed they had toys and board games for children and adults to enjoy as well. Our daughters enjoyed the game room very much. I can't stress how clean this place was and being the germaphobes that we are, we felt extremely comfortable during our stay here. There are some great restaurants within a mile from this cabin, and Dodge Ridge and Leland snow play are all within a 20-30 min drive. They also provide sleds in the garage so that you don't have to rent or bring your own. Very convenient! This will definitely be our annual family snow trip getaway spot! We had the best experience staying at this cabin. Jessica was VERY responsive to all of our questions, and we will come back to stay here again.
