Relaxing oasis

The Perfect Getaway

The cabin is super comfortable and has everything you need. The space outside the cabin is beautiful. I enjoyed walking down and around the lake every morning. Amanda and Dave are very kind and helpful. We’re very grateful to them. It’s so peaceful there. We want to return.

A hidden gen

This was a perfect little hideaway. Very secluded, quiet, and super comfortable. We slept really well in the king sized bed. The owners live on the property, but they are up the road, and we never saw them. We really appreciated the privacy. Great hiking trails around the lake nearby for dog walks.

Great Metchosin Getaway

We've stayed at this great cabin 3 times thus far, and hope to return again sometime. The location is a wonderful base of operations from which to explore the many fabulous hiking trails nearby. The cabin is spacious and very well appointed. We loved the outdoor hot tub, even in the rain, and the very efficient wood stove inside added to the ambience.

Thrilled

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cozy cabin. Very quiet, very clean, and very private. Close to many great trails and the quaint little town of Metchosin. We had such an enjoyable time, it was hard to leave. We would stay here again for sure.

Perfect

Hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and easy. They supplied things most wouldn't think to bring with them! And what they may not have can be found at the general store in town which is basically like a small town Walmart. They also have things you'd never think of but would be glad they have! Hot tub was great, loved the fire pit, the home layout was great... I wish it was my home! Hope to come back again someday.

Secluded get away

We had a lovely stay. House was clean and directions provided by the host were detailed and accurate. Highly recommend staying here. Walking distance to a really nice loop hike around Matheson Lake and the Galloping Goose.

A little slice of heaven

A beautiful, tranquille and serene spot. Most times you could hear nothing but the sound of wind in the trees. The hot tub was used a lot! Clear instructions for everything. Very comfy king bed and kitchen was well stocked with basics. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat 💓

Perfect in every way for our stay

We commented to each other at the end of our stay that this is perfect for our family of 4 for our 3 night visit. The rental filled all our needs and the hot tub was popular. Everything is in excellent condition. We hope to return again next year.

A little piece of Heaven!

My partner and I spent two wonderful nights here and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The cabin was cozy, very well appointed, there was firewood ready for a rainy night of staying indoors. The bed was comfy and the sheets were ultra soft. The entire cabin was spotless and the hot tub was a nice way to start and end the day…even in the rain! If you want an excellent getaway this is the place. Pack your swimsuit, some cozy clothes, some food and the rest is taken care of!
