Cabin was excellent! Rooms were clean, kitchen had everything that we needed for our group to make a great dinner. We did not use the hot tub although we did open it up to see if it worked (it did.) The fire pit is next to a creek that isn't audible from the cabin but was very relaxing to listen to fireside. Water pressure can be a bit low if multiple showers are in use but that should be expected.

Photos in the listing do not do the cabin justice! Many upgrades and cozy touches are added. We had a great family gathering for the holidays. We enjoyed finding fossils in the creek and large dining table for games.

Overall the cabin was a great getaway and had plenty of things to do! We loved how secluded it was, the family games and the proximity to Metamora and Brookville. The biggest concern was the cleanliness. There were wads of hair in the shower, stuff left in the fridge& freezer, candy wrappers under the couch and a sock and pair of sunglasses on one of the bedroom floor. The beds were also a little uncomfortable but manageable. While it was easy not having check out procedures I think it would help with cleanliness if you insisted all food be taken out of the cabin when leaving and bedsheets and towels be placed in the many hampers throughout the cabin. Overall thank you so much for opening your cabin up to us! We loved our weekend get away.

3rd Year - Very comfortable

This is our 3rd year staying here with a family group.The kitchen and eating area accommodates the entire group which is nice. The beds and bathrooms worked out well for our group of 10. The fire pit is the evening hang out.The town and Brookville Lake area is great.

High price for what we experienced

Dishwasher was not installing properly, leaked, and we had to hand wash all dishes. Upstairs shower leaked into main floor bathroom. Garbage pick up and two deliveries of water in the middle of the day on Saturday. Only bery basic cleaning done. Kitchen appliances filthy.

Relaxing Getaway

This cabin never disappoints! We are return visitors, and I loved seeing the upgrades to the furniture in the living room and turning the basement into a bedroom and game room. We have a wonderful time relaxing and laughing all weekend. Thank you for keeping this memory alive for us as a family.

Great location for groups.

My group stayed here for a nearby event. The interior of the building was great, and accommodated our large group quite well. There were no major issues with the property. The hosts were also extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond for us multiple times leading up to our stay.

Property is nice. Owners are shady.

We were charged for a broken toilet seat that was already broken and glued back together when we arrived. We were charged for extra cleaning when there was trash under just about every bed when we got there including a bra. There was trash in the back lot that wasn’t even ours that we cleaned up. They even invented a broken chair. Now maybe the chair exists but if so we didn’t use it. They charged us for dog hair on furniture when we paid a pet fee. they charged us for dirty bed sheets when there’s no washer. Overall the property is pretty nice. Too bad the owners are shady.

Secluded Cabin

Very nice cabin secluded back in the woods. Tons of room inside with lots of bedrooms, large living room and game room. Plenty of area outside for activities. Nice fire pit area and hot tub off the deck. Close enough to Brookville if you need supplies but still feels like you’re miles away from civilization! Recommend!

Private, spacious (held 16 people), clean, Xlg hot tub, love the in cabin overlook, wrap around porch, fire pit, Game room and bar nice. A bit tricky to find. Sign off of road a bit. Need to look for mailbox address

Very quiet and peaceful

Property was very secluded and quiet. We had a group of 11 adults and there was plenty of room. We had a great time together. The water pressure was a little low but wasn't a deal breaker. We stayed clean and comfortable, AC kept us cool! Owners were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Very nice people.

We love this cabin!

Our group has stayed here for a week every year since 2019. The owners and property manager are communicative and helpful. The main floor is open concept and perfect for larger groups. It’s a second home to us that is the perfect space for making memories! We cherish our time there.

Great Place

Annual family gathering - sons, grandkids, brother, and nephews. The cabin is large and spacious. The beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use. The kitchen was very well equipped and fire pit area was used every night till after midnight. The town is fairly close and has everything needed. The lake big and with a nice beach area. Already booking next year.

A great secluded spot to relax

There was only five of us so it was plenty big enough with ample beds and bathrooms. The kids were plenty entertained by the game area downstairs and exploring some of the trails outside around the cabin. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus to enjoy outdoors surrounded by all the trees. The one hiccup was very minor and that was just locating the main gate, as it may have been helpful to have a sign or something out by the road. That’s just me being nitpicky though, it is a nice place well away from the main highways.

Family Christmas/New Years

This was a very nice, peaceful property. My adult kids and their significant others and my in-laws stayed here over the New Year's weekend and loved it. Even though it rained most of the weekend, the kids enjoyed the hot tub. We got to hike around the property and enjoy the peace and quiet. Overall, it was a great stay.
