"This is a beautiful 5 star property in a very quiet rural location. We were two coiples and had so much space to chill and two lovely bedrooms both with en suite was just brilliant. Plenty of storage, fully stocked and large kitchen and untility/ boot room if you go walking!! It is so beautifully decorated throughout we loved all the different lamps. "Lovely well equipped lodge. Beautiful main bedroom view with large window and comfortable bed.
Outdoor pool not in use and sauna also out of action. Felt prices for activities were steep especially at least £10 PP so £40 for a family of 4. Indoor pool area didnt match quality of the rest of the resort with dated and run down looking changing rooms.
Overall a really pleasant stay during first week of july. Only did 2 mights which was enough. Very quiet. Saw approx 10 families during our stay."

"Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...
