This is a beautiful home with very gracious hosts. Nine of us stayed here including my four young grandchildren who spent more time in the pool than anywhere else. The rooms and layout were perfect and being in the canal we got to see dolphin, a manatee and bioluminescence. We had a great time and I would recommend staying here to anyone!

Great Stay!

We had a great family vacation and plenty of room and stuff to do for our children aged 6-16. Temps ended up being much cooler than expected and had some rain, but we still enjoyed the heated pool and games!

Holiday visit

We rented to come see family in the area for Christmas. We had them over for dinner and the home was wonderful to entertain the young ones. The home was decorated perfectly for Christmas. We will rent here again.

Amazing house on the Space Coast

A wonderful house with all you could possibly need to take advantage of everything the area offers. It is well-appointed and there are beach toys, games, bikes, and kayaks for excursions from the dock. We saw dolphins and manatees behind the house every day. We brought our own boat and tied up to the dock for the week. With quick and easy access to the Atlantic, a short trip to the best rocket launch viewing, and some nearby sandbar spots, it is an excellent location for boaters. The property managers were great to work with and the arrival and departure processes were incredibly easy. Highly recommend.

Pre Cruise

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had chosen the right place. The view and setting of the house was wonderful. We were able to relax and enjoy the much-needed downtime before our cruise. The kids enjoyed the pool we were able to have family-style meals and watch the sunsets setting by the fire. We dubbed the little watch dogs name Oscar. (he is part of the decor) Great Host and House. Could not have asked for anything better.

Fantastic Family Spot

The house was wonderful for our family of four! The house was very clean, well appointed and organized. We all enjoyed the pool, fishing, manatee sightings and so much more. We were in great proximity to Orlando and the beach. We will be back!

Nice experience! Beautiful home with everything you could need.

Nice experience for a family get-a-way. This beautiful home has a bit of everything you would need. Daily sunrises and sunsets were fabulous on the deck. The communication process with the property manager was seamless and professional and kind. We would stay here again! We would make one recommendation that a king sized bed be added to main bedroom. :)

Perfect Choice!

Great choice for my husband and I. This house has it all. Weve stayed at many VRBO locations throughout FL and i would say this house ranked as one of the best for us. Loved the back porch, chairs, lights at night, watching the fish and birds in the canal and of course, the pool. Well stocked kitchen. Clean. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again.

Space coast retreat

We recently stayed in Merritt Island for baseball, this home was the perfect getaway to relax and stay cool after being at the ballparks all day long. The homeowners were more than accommodating, checking on us throughout the week if there was anything we needed, recommendations for anywhere…. We would definitely stay again!!!

The photos don't do the property justice.

This was my first time renting a home with an on-line service and it made me a believer. From the beginning I asked a lot of questions and Jared responded within a day, each time. He offered suggestions of local activities and restaurants in the area. The house looks great in the photos, but they don't do the home justice. All of the furnishings looked as though they were locally sourced, based on a day of shopping in the area, making the home feel cozy and a part of the beach lifestyle. The size was perfect for my family of 5 adults, we never felt crowded or on top of one another. We spent a good portion of the long weekend in the pool and patio area. The fans over the covered portion helped keep us cool in the extreme Florida heat, when we weren't reliving our younger days, enjoying the pool. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if we could have stayed a few extra days. I thank the hosts for the beautiful listing. I absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to feel relaxed and at home while enjoying the best part of life in Florida, fun in the sun with family and friends. Yes, we would rent here again. Thanks for the memories!

Perfect Getaway

The house was more than we could have imagined, everything was perfect. There was everything that we needed in the home for cooking, swimming, fishing, etc. The views were amazing. We even got to watch a rocket launch from the front steps. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely consider this home again.

Merritt Island Home

Convenient location especially to Kennedy space center. Good communication with the host, accommodated all 8 of us perfectly, great kitchen and outside grilling area, heated pool awesome with outdoor living space, backyard view was wonderful and comfortable. A king size bed would be a great addition, wish we had lighting at the dining table, maybe LED edge light on the step down to family room from kitchen. I hope to get back to visit again!

Wonderful waterfront oasis

Stayed with our family for several days, and cant say enough great things! Owners were very responsive and great to work with. The house is beautiful and so clean!!! Location is convenient to lots of local attractions. The outdoor area with the pool and dock was the icing on the cake....great way to enjoy the amazing weather and the water. We enjoyed our time immensely!

Merritt Island Christmas

Generally, this is a great place to make vacation. Communication to the host was easy and responsive. House is super clean, furniture, in and outside of high quality, size of the house is generous, so is the outside area. Barbecue is available, unfortuntely without proper light support after sunset. The light is one of the few critic points, next to the bed sizes. Every light in the house, beside the kitchen area, is kind of "in-direct", which is a little disturbing. Dinner table (beautiful decorated), no direct central light over the table. Bed room light switch, it is there, but no central light, so one always has to find the way to the bed to turn on the light on the bed stand. Bed size master bad was our main critic point. We are an older couple, so a small queen bed is not very convienient for us, same in the second bed room, this would be our reason, and actually the only reason, for not coming back. For this price, I just expect to have a king size bed, at least in the master bed room. Outside pool is not heated, which no one would expect, BUT, when you travle during winter time, a nice thing to have, we could not use the pool, which was one of the reasons to rent the house. Our grandson lives close, and we wanted to have fun with him in the pool, which wasn't possible. In all fairness to say, there were the coldest 3 first days we had in Florida since decades, so no chance for the water to heat up again. Here to say, nothing one can expect, but would be lovely to have for the (high) price you pay. Over all, great location, wonderful house, super friendly and communicative host, but would not rent it again, at least not in the winter time.

Perfect Location for Thanksgiving

This home was comfortable, clean, well maintained, spacious, and well equipped for a family gathering. Our son and his fiancée joined us, and we had fun cooking together and entertaining his fiancée’s family. Communication with Lauren and Jared, the property managers, was excellent. A few minor baubles, but nothing that would keep me from booking here again.
