This could be a nice house for your stay but where to begin.....
1) the yard was WAY overgrown
2) the house was FILTHY - hair in the tub in the front bath, dirt under all the fixtures, bugs hanging off the screens for the porch out back, that area hadn't been cleaned in MONTHS, if the floors had been swept I sure don't know when, and don't get me started on the smell and the shape of the garage & laundry area
3) the beds in both 'spare' bedrooms desperately need to be replaced. the master was fine, but the others? good luck
4) there were issues with 3 of the TV's - we couldn't get any apps to load and they had to bring a ROKU for the main TV in order to get it to work
now, all of that being said, I can't recommend the Property Mgr. enough. he was ALWAYS very nice, was prompt with his responses, got anything we complained about fixed, and was nice enough to refund our cleaning fee (since we ended up cleaning the joint ourselves)
the location was good, close to things, not a huge drive to the beach, and we didn't have any issues with the neighbors or traffic. the applicances are nice enough, there were plenty of hangers in the closets - but instructions for some things would have been good. I'm not a Keurig person - I do drink coffee - but I could not figure out to work the one they had there. Knobs on the dressers would come off, some lamps worked, just little things that while not huge annoy you when you're spending ALOT of money to have a vacation.
We're not rookies at this, we've been renting houses on VRBO for quite a few years, but this one was a huge disappointment. We left two days early to head back to a resort, our choice, but that should tell you something......
