This was easy to find, within walking distance of not only the beach but other areas as well. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped with wonderful views

Was very clean, comfortable and roomy and very easy for check-in. The position was excellent for walking to the main beach for a surf and to eat at the local cafe. Was fabulous for an overnight stay.

Big place, well equipped.
Very large and well equipped apartment for two people and dedicated parking spot. We didn’t use the pool due to bad weather but it looked great from our balcony. Would definitely stay again

Spacious and private
We had a very large apartment with 2 bedrooms. Condition was very good and would stay there again. We had a balcony overlooking the lake. Great for families.

A Beautiful Spot
Apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean with a gorgeous view over the lake. The manager met us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful. Bed was comfortable and blockout blinds a bonus. Plenty of storage everywhere. Well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a snap lockdown but we’ll be back.

two bedroom with 2 bathrooms, excellent for two couples travelling together and at a reasonable price. No pets allowed which is one reason we chose this location. Full kitchen and laundry with w/machine and dryer, all a few years old but still serviceable. Easy walk back into township and a few hundred metres easy walk to the ocean beach. Nothing we did not like

We were given an upgrade room to what used to be the Manager's apartment. It was very large, 2 bathrooms and a great view. We were very impressed and loved the se.

The property was close to amenities and was spacious and clean. We were disappointed that the blinds were missing (broken) from the main lounge room window. As a ground floor unit, the BBQ area/main road was directly in front of our unit and people could see into our lounge room during the evening/night time. We were not told about the blinds on arrival and when we asked about them (when they would be fixed or replaced), we were told that it would be some time during the week. We were there for 6 days and heard nothing further. There were vacancies at the complex and we were not offered another room.

Dear Anonymous, its was not my intension to not bring up the blind issue so i apologise , it must have skipped my mind. We were booked out for the period of time you were there so i dont know where you got this information from. When you were here the roads around the area were closed due to severe flooding in return made it hard for tradespeople from areas outside of Merimbula to actually arrive to do any work so i apologise again for this. Please if you have any issues bring the problem/s to management as i am certain they will do there upmost best to attend to these matters. The floods have now gone and we can now repair the blinds, i thank you for your review and take care. Thank you

Great Property - Definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at Sails.. the property and caretaker was fabulous and a lot of pride goes into keeping the grounds and guests comfortable. Highly recommend. Apartment was spacious with all we needed.

Dated property that is very clean and comfortable. Hotel doesn’t have an on-site restaurant and doesn’t provide basic breakfast items. Blinds in rooms need to be replaced. Overall was very comfortable stay. A few more amenities would help for the price point.

Hi Anonymous, thank you for your feedback it is appreciated. Due to the covid, bushfires, floods over the year it has made it very hard for some items to be replaced. There is no mention when you book that we offer a restaurant or breakfast items ??. Thank you

Great location and view from apartment. Very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Added bonus of swimming pool and easy walk to town or main beach . Manager of property very happy to ensure clients comfortable and had all they needed for a great stay.

Great host owner. Close enough to the main town that you can simply walk over the bridge but not too close that you get noise from other tourists. Great playground close by. Note, the rooms aren’t serviced every day so keep that in mind when you use your towels 🙂

A handy spot at Fishpen, with a nice view over the Lake. Spa bath was bigger than Texas. The bedroom doesn’t get any flow through air and the accommodation is good but hardly luxurious.

Fantastic option in the Merimbula Fishpen area
The Sails Luxury Apartments are well rated and with good reason. The apartments are incredibly spacious. Ours was a 2 bed, 2 bathroom with a large living space and kitchen area. One of the bathrooms included a spa bath with overhead shower. Lots of cooking utensils, pots, pans made this a very good trip given we were based here for over a week. I needed to 'work from home' whilst in Merimbula and the space was quiet enough to be able to work undisturbed. Rhys is a lovely host and more than happy to help. Would happily stay here again in future!
