We came for a weekend, ended up staying a extra night. Not the fanciest of places but it was good, solid and super clean! We will be back!

Very spacious, and comfortable beds and all cooking facilities catered for . Could have a coat of paint inside and out, but didn’t make any difference to our stay. Would go back again.

Great place to stay with my family (3 teenaged kids). The weather was hot but the apartment was cool. Location is good - walking distance to Main Beach and town centre. We would stay here again.

The bathroom had mold in the shower and hand basin. Really it needed an upgrade.

Good location and two bedrooms. Noticed after we arrived that they charge extra $ if you use more than one bed (a bit stingy if you are not a couple?)

The property is dated, but that's ok cause it's still comfortable and the amenities were good. View was nice, and location was convenient. Check in and out was too easy, with having a lock box.

This accomodation and facilities standard has lowered over the years . Assistance asked for a cricket that was in our unit and we got a response but no one attended . Not really what I would call a superior apartment either

COAST TRIP IN AUTUMN
Our stay was pleasant except for a broken chair where the screw had come loose and could have been dangerous and bed side lights didn't work. A bit of confusion as to who to contact about this, otherwise clean and comfortable and within easy access of the main shopping centre.

Super clean, easy to check in, great location, good value. Only downside is the curtains.. Need to invest in blackout blinds as the permanently on exterior light was right outside the main bedroom

Place was clean and well kept, just a few troublesome bits and pieces. like the shower splashing everywhere and the shower head being way too low for a tall person.

The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, long thick hair everywhere inside the shower base and on the floor, dust and hair on floor under long basin/benchtop, sand all around the shower and door way. Dust very thick on the light fittings in hall way, the drawers had insects and rubbish inside of them... would not put clothing inside that drawer ever. Fingernails on the carpet next to/around the bedside table. Sand on the doona cover in main bedroom, we had not been to the beach before we arrived. No one bothered sweeping doorway and mat to the back entrance. The microwave had crumbs in it, the base of the fridge had not been cleaned from previous tenants. The oven door did not open without hitting the door frame - squashed against wall, dangerous. Have stayed many times at "Aquarius Resort", owned by different tenants to these units and always very clean and hygenic. This was very poor, are the cleaners away on holidays? Gives the Resort a bad name. Not even a fresh lot of linen offered for bedding after the first week, as would be offered in any apartment/hotel/cabin - very lacking in personal service for holiday makers. Requested a receipt for the original invoice of payment, have not received this yet. Also, there is nowhere a mention of the 30% payment up front for accomodation - prior to booking, not printed on the website on Wotif - should be printed on booking

No reception - need to call property in advance
Staying in this motel was a strange experience. We overlooked the small text at the end of the confirmation email that prompted us to contact the property in advance. We arrived at the motel on foot from the airport, not having called them in advance, thinking that we had booked a small guesthouse as the word motel wasn’t mentioned in the property description. Well, it was a motel. The reception was closed and there was only a voice mail on the number pasted in the door, while the number in my email was not in use. After a half-hour wait, 6pm on a Sunday night, having no one return our calls, I called Hotels.com (it was very hard to find the phone number of the customer arrive as they want you to email them) to cancel our booking. To my pleasant surprise, a friendly lady offered to call the property manager, and gave me her direct number. I was then given a code for the key box to release the room key. Upon checkout the next day the reception was open but did not accept our key, saying that our room (no 11) was managed by a different manager. We were advised to return the key in the key box. How strange and confusing! The room itself looked very different from the photos and no sea view. It was clean, quiet and spacious and the bed comfortable. We slept well. There was an excellent Fish & Chips place within a walking distance, and enjoying the fresh fish on the quiet beach made us feel a million times better. Would we return? For the fish & chips - yes. For the motel no.
